U China — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

Horrible experience!! Me and my husband ordered lunch from here the chicken chow mein and sesame chicken and within 5 minutes of eating a couple bites my husband was puking and about 5 more minutes I was in the bathroom puking so there was something obsivously wrong with the chicken and then I started to smell the raw chicken smell which led me to it was not cooked properly. I called them back to tell them that the chicken we had wasn't good and it made us sick and she went off saying there isn't anything wrong with their chicken cuz their chicken is fresh every day. I figured maybe she didnt quiet understand what I was trying to tell her so I told her that the food we got from them gave us food poisoning and she again said that's not possible our chicken is fresh everyday. No parital refund on the food that was making us sick, didn't want us to bring back what was left of what had made us sick, no offer to replace the food that had made us sick just SOL don't cAre that their food made us sick. Very horrible experience will not ever go back...

If I could put Zero Stars I certainly Would. I called Ordered There House Speciality’ Orange Chicken with fried Rice. I specifically asked if there Food was made Fresh to Order! Yes they said!! Food arrived 40 minutes later only 4- blocks away. The RICE TASTED LIKE IT WAS 2-3 days old left over China food Dry hard ( Gross & unfortunate but it was . The (House specialty ORANGE chicken with dry hard string like texture in the meat ( chicken over cooked dry old like rice and Throw some orange peals in & I paid Nearly 18$ for old dry just really bad Chinese take Out delivery! You clearly don’t cook fresh to order and the only People who would enjoy this meal is bar hopping intoxicating patrons. Very Unhappy Will not order again its a shame since you could have had a Customer that could have been a loyal customer. Unfortunately Old dry hard rice and old dry chicken Just Wrong & LAZY CHEFS COOKING LEFTOVERS AND OLD WRONG!! Very very Bad...

This place is great. Delicious food and HUGE portions from a very nice family. Best crab rangoon anywhere around the area.

One thing tho - I notice their reviews are being sabotaged. People sure do lie a lot these days. For one, "Brandy Ware" posted a very spammy 1 Star review ten months ago that doesnt once mention China U's food and then ANOTHER 1 Star review under a diff ID just two weeks ago! Why would Brandy eat at China U two weeks back (and post random photos of Chinese food) if she gave them 1 Star last year while promoting at least two competing Chinese takeouts?
