Our family has been wanting to visit Guidry’s for quite some time now, and we finally got the opportunity to last night. Right as we walked through the door we were greeted by friendly staff members and seated right away. It was a Wednesday night, and it was still pretty busy. Our server was very attentive all night and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered 4 pounds of crawfish to start (1X heat level), my wife ordered the stuffed shrimp, and my daughter ordered a burger with fries. I was happy to see they had Dos Equis on draft, and our waitress was asking if I needed another well before it was ever empty. The food came out in a timely manner, and we weren’t disappointed. The crawfish were spicy, and the flavor was inside the meat. They were a little big, but this time of year that’s just how it is. My wife’s shrimp were tasty, they could have used a little acidity, but overall, a good meal. My daughters burger was downright delicious, I tried a bite, and you could tell they seasoned the meat just right. Fries were on point, seasoned and great flavor. Thank you Guidry’s for a great night, you did not disappoint.

This was another one on the list of must try Crawfish spots in town. Guidry's did not disappoint. It was packed on our visit, definitely a local favorite / hot spot! Rather than wait for a table we sat at the bar and received service very quickly. The food came out just as fast as we ordered it. The Crawfish is a must try! Great flavor, spice, and heat. Spicy or Double spicy would be perfect for most new comers. Down side the vegetables aren't boiled in the same seasoning. The fried mushrooms were another great addition we enjoyed. The batter has a nice seasoning, with a good flavor. If you're looking for a new Cajun flavored crawfish spot to try, definitely make this restaurant a stop. Note: Should you visit on the weekend, it could be very busy. We had to park across the street as the lot was full.

Horrible experience. Their service is atrocious. 3 tables got there after I did & got their appetizers & actual food before we did. We had to tell them to cancel our fries bc they finally decided to bring them an hour later, when we were already almost done with our food. Make it make sense. We also got our catfish bites a little after we got our actual food. It's supposed to be a STARTER. We probably never would've got them if we didn't say anything. Next let's move on to the food. Also horrible. No flavor or seasoning, just spice. This more like YT people seafood (no offense to anyone) but I would save my money on boiled seafood here. However the catfish bites, po boy & their drinks were good. If you look at this picture & think this looks appetizing, you don't know good crawfish/seafood.

Just returned home from one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had in 40 years. What started out to be a great night (3-26-21) out with family (our nephew was in town from college with his girlfriend), turned into a really frustrating, upsetting experience, that not even management knew how to handle. We waited 45 min to be seated which is not bad on a Friday night at a happening crawfish place. Sat down out in the patio and placed our order. We ordered bucket of beer, boiled shrimp, crawfish and some fried catfish bites. The beer and catfish bites came out pretty quick. It was over an hour before we got our crawfish and shrimp, not to mention watching the tables around us that people sat at after we ordered were getting their crawfish before us. We finished our bucket of beer waiting on the crawfish and were never asked if we wanted another one. Our regular drinks, sodas and waters, were never refilled. We were to the point we had all (all 6 of us)decided to just leave and go somewhere else, when our food arrived. I immediately asked to talk to a manager and that's when Alan (Allen?) Came by to check on us. He explained the boilers were backed up and the fryers were a different section and were faster, but it doesn't explain how the people that ordered after us got their boiled food before us. Alan said he wanted to give me a chance to try the food and would be back to check on us. We finished our food, with no one checking on us to see if we wanted more food or drinks... our waitress was M.I.A. most of the night. After sitting there for who knows how long before another waitress, not ours asked if we we needed anything, we said no we were done. No one ever came back to bring us a ticket or to further check on us. I had to call the main phone number and ask the girl, which we knew, working the door to come back and help us or send somebody to check on us. Finally when she came back and helped us get our check, the other waitress found our original waitress to help us. Alan never came back to check on us like he said he would, not sure what happened to him??? Turned out to be a really unfortunate situation, poorly handled by management. Good customer service starts from the top and apparently the top management here doesnt care about losing customers. We were ready to eat some shrimp, crawfish and drink beer (spend some money), but the fun night we had planned was absolutely ruined. To top things off they only comped our catfish bites... I guess that's their way of making things right. Really upset and don't see us going back. Crawfish Shack in Crosby is definitely worth the drive.... Better mud bugs, shrimp and definitely better service... they actually care about their customers! FYI not our first time eating at Guidry's, but first (and last) time having this happen. Would be nice if they had cameras on the patio, so the owners could actually see how...

I’ve been coming here for a few years now & my most recent experience left me highly disappointed. Waited over an hour to be seated on the patio which I didn’t completely mind because inside with the extremely loud live music is a tad obnoxious. The flow of how food is delivered just makes zero sense. We ordered an appetizer that came out at the end of our meal that we asked to be checked on multiple times AND it was majority wrong - boudin link, buffalo shrimp, & fried pickles. We received boudin link, buffalo chicken & fried jalapeños….? The receipt showed the waiter rung the order in correctly, so idk why the kitchen messed that up. We still ate it with no complaints because none of us wanted to wait for it to be re made. My friend ordered a shrimp po boy that took forever to come out instead of being delivered with the other entrees & really, y’all use popcorn shrimp for that..Why. Kids meal came out first, way before anything else did which was fine to keep him occupied.

My biggest complaint is trying to understand the price of the Guidry special for $63. Looking back, when you price everything out separate, it’s cheaper to buy things individually?! 1 lb crawfish $7.99/market, 1 lb shrimp $19, 1/2 lb sausage $8, 1/2 lb snow crab $17/market = about $53… where is the other $10 coming from & how is that even a special at that point. I know the one corn & potato did not cost no $10. Should it of came with two crab clusters? I am so confused & pissed off. & the crab was over cooked so it all stuck & was a pain to get out. & to make it more expensive, $6 for four mushrooms, that’s a joke.

I can’t only complain on this review because I love their food & the flavor is always on point when we get crawfish which is why we’ve returned year after year. Our waiter was great & we never had to ask for refills but he was swamped &...

My son wanted crawfish for his birthday, perfect time, crawfish are in season. 5 of us dined at Guidrys last night, not one of us was impressed with the meal. First, I am not a crawfish person so I had Gumbo and a boudin ball - I have had better gumbo out of a Campbell's can; the roux was flavorless and there was no okra. Nothing but flavorless rice, chicken and bits of sausage. The boudin ball was good, I have had better but it was the highlight of my meal. Everyone else ordered crawfish - some spicy, some regular - and they all agreed it was satisfactory, but across the board agreed that the crawfish were on the small side and that the potatoes and corn on the cobb would be gratly improved were they cooked in the boil; hence, the sides were flavorless and pointless which is made worse by the fact that you pay extra for them. Toward the end of my meal, I took a drink and noticed there was something crunchy, I drug a few small pieces to my tongue to discover that it was glass. My husband called the server over to advise her that they needed to check the tea to be sure it wasn't being served to other patrons, she infomed the manager, but no one ever came to the table and a replacement drink was never offered. Last but not least are issues with appearance and cleanliness. We were seated a dirty table, it appeared clean but it was sticky and textured. The carpet is filthy and worn, it is obvious that no money goes back in to the appearance of the restaurant. The decor is tired and old and overall the restaurant is in dire need of a cleaning and redecoration. Our server was congenial and attentive. Overall, extremely disappointed; this meal was definitely not worth the $100 I dropped on it. We won't be back and I would highly recommend you remember this review when you consider...
