After spending a hot couple of hours on the beach at the crowded Pioneer Festival and Art Stroll I was in the mood for refreshment so I popped in to check out Cove Brewery, the first ever brewery in Deerfield Beach. From the moment you step through the entrance, the inviting ambiance and passion for craftmanship is obvious. The Cove Brewery is located in the west end of the Cove Shopping Plaza on Hillsboro Blvd. One of the owners is 15 year brew master Corey Wilson who previously worked at Crazy Mike's in Boca Raton. His partners in the project is Whelchel Partners in Boca Raton. The building was a former 24,000 square foot warehouse that has received an over 2 million dollar makeover by architect Steven Cohen & Associates who designed it to be a taproom reminiscent of old Florida. The Cove Brewery has tables, an open floor plan with an indoor and outdoor bar, and outdoor patio seating. In my opinion a brewery is just what The Cove has been missing. During my visit every seat at the bar was taken by patrons enjoying the the 20 brews on tap that were designed to bring a taste of the Florida lifestyle. Tan Man, an amber lager is their most popular brew but I like fruity beers so I chose the light Strawberry Shaka which is described as being vibrant, sweet, and thirst quenching. I concur with all three. It was exactly what I was craving. In addition to beer they also serve wine, sake, seltzer, and alcohol free drinks. If you are hungry you can scan the QR code and have food delivered to your seat from Won-Tom's, an Asian inspired dim sum and seafood kitchen next door. The ordering process could not have been easier and I was able to check out with Apple Pay. I had my food delivered to my seat at the bar minutes later. I love the ability to have tasty food with my beer. The Cove and Won-Tom's make the perfect partners. Cheers to The Cove Brewery for bringing the craft beer scene to Deerfield Beach.

As a local resident, I couldn't be prouder of this establishment that radiates a sense of community and camaraderie. One of the aspects I love most about Cove Brewery is their unwavering commitment to supporting local artists and other businesses. It's heartwarming to see a brewery take such an active role in uplifting and promoting the talents of the community. Their walls are adorned with stunning local artworks, and they have announced to regularly host events that showcase the creativity of local artisans, and musicians. The moment you step foot into Cove Brewery, you'll be captivated by the enchanting ambiance of their beautiful space. With a warm and inviting atmosphere, it's a place that welcomes everyone, from families with children to furry friends on leashes. The inclusivity they promote is truly commendable, making it a go-to spot for quality time with loved ones. Of course, the main highlight of Cove Brewery is undoubtedly their outstanding selection of beers. Crafted with passion and expertise, their brews are a delight for the taste buds. From crisp and refreshing IPAs to rich and flavorful stouts, every sip is a testament to their dedication to the art of brewing. Overall, Cove Brewery has won my heart for its outstanding qualities. It's not just a place to enjoy great beers, but a true pillar of the community, fostering connections between locals and providing a platform for talent to shine. If you're seeking an unforgettable coastal brewery experience, look no further than Cove Brewery—it's a haven for beer enthusiasts and community supporters alike.

We have been looking forward to Cove Brewery opening its doors for many months now. Not long after it opened, we visited and were delighted with the beautiful facility and a modest selection of very good tasting beers on tap. The brewery is located in a very busy plaza on the mainland side of the Intracoastal Waterway. This brewery is closer to the beach than any other, this side of Hollywood. It's an easy walk over the bridge to the ocean. It's tucked into the corner of the plaza next to a very good Chinese takeout place which will bring food orders to any table inside the brewery or patio. The taproom is modern and captures the beach atmosphere with its decor and big screen showing the live feed from the webcam at Deerfield Beach pier. The most important aspect of course is the beer, and it's very good. The menu is limited to 5 beers if you exclude the sours and guest taps. We tried them all and liked the Wheat Beer style "Heatwave" the best. The prices were typical for breweries and we didn't notice any promotions for discounts like most breweries run. However, the taproom and location is definitely a step up from what is typical, and I'm sure that comes at a big cost. We plan to come back and hope to see new beers in the rotation at Cove Brewery. We like this place and hope it's a successful venture.

Beer was very good as was the music. Service was poor. Beer pong tables created a loud and distracting atmosphere which ruined the experience and took away from a musician doing his best to entertain. Food at Won Ton's was good but server never returned with sauce that was asked for and when a 2nd server was asked, she took the time to video the performer and the crowd first allowing my food to become that much colder. It could have been a great experience rather than highly mediocre. When I suggested they should get rid of the pong tables when they have a performer, the beer tender was rude and said that "We like the tables". They can keep their tables and lose a client...

Not sure how I can respond to the owner but I wanted you to know that I appreciate the response very much. I was hesitant to write anything but the experience went from very promising to very bad and the disappointment prompted me to write. Also, I was in the restaurant business for over 15 years so I understand the need for customer feedback. Also, I want to fine tune one of my comments. The food was good at Won Ton, the server is the first person I asked for the sauce that was forgotten but I also saw a Cove person bussing dishes back to Won Ton and I asked her for the sauce as well and she is the one who eventually brought it but after some time. It was really the comment from the beer tender that was upsetting since I was giving constructive suggestions about the tables disturbing the musical experience, which ruined the vibe for customers and the musician and blowing off my comment with the fact that they like the tables in there is dismissive and rude. Hopefully, you get would should be a great business and experience in order for a great guest experience and I hope to be back with members of my company and friends...
