I’ve been coming to Tipperary for over ten years now. It’s not just my go-to spot in Deerfield Beach — it’s practically my second home. That is… when Richard and Dan allow me in! 🥹
Dick and Danny, the owners, have been holding it down for several decades, and deserve nothing but respect. They’ve built more than a bar — they’ve built a Deerfield institution. A cornerstone where stories are poured by the glass.

Atmosphere
Tipperary is a rare breed: part time capsule, part improv stage. It’s familiar, forgiving, and full of unexpected moments — especially on live band nights when the floor starts to breathe with energy. It’s not curated. It’s cultivated.

The Bartenders — A Living, Pouring Cast of Characters • Kim – Calm, collected, always two steps ahead of the chaos. She’s the spine of the bar. • Jennifer (Bar Mom) – She’ll give you a side-eye that feels like a hug and a warning all at once. The nurturing chaos controller. • Luciano (my brother-in-sauce) – Effortlessly cool. A showman with a pour and a scientist when it comes to spice. 🌶️ Pro tip: Ask him about his hot sauce. It’s the stuff of legend — fiery, flavorful, and maybe just a front for world domination. • Amber (the wild card) – The human spark plug. No two mornings are ever the same when she’s working. • Rachel (the eccentric) – Serving drinks with a side of cosmic curiosity. You never know what version of reality she’s working with, but it’s always fun. • Carlos (chillaxed) – Cool breeze in a hurricane. Effortless, unfazed, and five-star energy all night long. • Anthony (my quirky neighbor) – He definitely stole my mustache. (Still waiting on the DNA results.)

Special Cameo: Bobbito
You haven’t really been to Tipperary until you’ve been dry-roasted by Bobbito, whose delivery is so deadpan it makes Seinfeld look like slapstick. He’s a silent sniper of wit. A sage with a beer. Respect the craft.
⸻
Food, Drinks, and Shenanigans
The drinks are potent, the food is delish, and you’ll never pay more than you should. There’s pool. Darts. Music. Debates. Laughter. Regret. Redemption. All on tap.
And if you’re lucky enough to catch the right night, you might just end up with a bottle of Luciano’s sauce and a Bobbito quote you’ll never forget.

The Spirit of the Place
I’ve celebrated here. I’ve ghosted and returned. I’ve been banned and hugged in the same week. And it’s always Tipperary. It always feels like coming home — even if you’re crawling back.
Whether you’re a first-timer or a lifer like me, you’re stepping into something that’s stood the test of time — not because it changed, but because it never had to.

Final Verdict
5 out of 5, every time. Unless I’m banned — then it’s 10 out of 10 for...
Read moreThe older lady bartender is not a nice person. Asked for a Moscow Mule and got scowled at and told that “they don’t do that here” like it’s some sort of outlandish drink. You guys have 15 different kinds of vodka but you don’t have a tiny bottle of ginger beer? She had an attitude no matter what we ordered and it made me and my friend feel not very welcome. This is why younger audiences don’t frequent this bar. The average age must’ve been 45 or older and the demographic is mostly redneck. In the past a friend of mine has gotten groped by an older lady at this bar, and when we told the bartender (the same lady I mentioned earlier) we were told that she was a regular and that there’s nothing she can do about it. The male bartender however is a really nice guy and was fun to talk to. There’s a pub 100 feet away in the same plaza that’s a lot more welcoming to younger people, has a wider selection of alcohol, nicer bartenders, and WAY...
Read moreThey say I'm associated with a group of ppl who I have nothing to do with so I'm not allowed in there.ive even paid people's tabs that got drunk and walked out.all the bartenders disagree with the managers/owners decision.no wonder some of them have recently quit after working there for a long time.ive left my number multiple times for management to call or text me to straighten this out and they never once try to contact me.half the times they are hiding upstairs and won't come down to talk to anyone.until that happens I'm leaving a bad review over their bad decisions and inability to communicate or confront a situation they wrongfully caused.if your new in town or visiting I suggest go to st pats in the same parking lot.never an issue and a very...
