Marco's Top Burgers — Restaurant in Deerfield Beach

TL;DR: absolutely delicious burgers, and they offer a variety of interesting burger combinations so you can try something new.

✒️ Longer version: I had a burger craving and was looking for a good burger place. By good, I meant “restaurant quality,” and I was looking for something interesting than just the plain old burger recipe. Could not find anything interesting in Fort Lauderdale that looked to my taste (discovered Brgr recently, story for another time)

🤗 The location of the restaurant is weird. It’s in a corporate building area and a bit out there but worth the drive. The advantage is that there is plenty of free parking.

🇧🇷 Everybody there seemed to be Brazilian and our waiters spoke to us in Portuguese. If you want to practice the language, that’s an opportunity I suppose. A Brazilian friend of mine told me that this type of burger is typical to Brazil.

🍔 They offer a wide variety of burgers including the “Brazilian way” in which the burger is made of a toasted sesame bun with house mayo, lettuce, tomato, corn, and potato sticks, on a sandwich bag. If you are into corn, take it!

🤤 The burgers were to die for. Very flavorful, the meat was well cooked and they were not too greasy. The best burger I had in a while.

⏱️ The service was quick and friendly. While the kitchen is in the back of the place, the air extraction must not be great because we smelled food after coming out of the restaurant. Unfortunately not outdoor seating options so maybe don’t go there before a date :)

Very disappointed in my first visit to the Marco’s Burgers restaurant in Deerfield Beach. I had driven by many times and decided that I would visit after I returned from a work trip to Europe. On the way home I stopped in on a Friday night. The restaurant was about half full and I just wanted to try one of their burgers and relax at home to eat it. I ordered the MTB (which I assume is for Marco’s Top Burger). It took about 15 minutes to receive my order and about 15 minutes to get home. To my extreme disappointment when I opened my to go box, there was no burger inside. Instead I received a hot dog, which I presume was the Marco’s Top Hot Dog? I have never ordered a hot dog at a restaurant in my life and I certainly didn’t on this occasion. I called the restaurant and told them about the mistake. The man that took my order said he thought I wanted the hot dog. He said he talked to the manager and I could return to the restaurant and exchange the hot dog for the burger I wanted. He then tried to convince me they have the best hot dogs in Florida, which did not help my frustration. I didn’t want a hot dog! After traveling on a 10-hour flight I wasn’t going to make a 30-minute round trip to fix the mistake. It would have been nice to be offered a credit for a future burger or to have it delivered instead of me having to return myself. ** Updated review!! - I got the X-Contra File burger and it was AMAZING! I got it Brazilian style, so good. Packed with so many flavors. Highly recommend. Dani was our waitress and she was soooo sweet! Will come back and ask for her everytime!!

Wanted to give my honest opinion about this place!

The location is great, I’ll start there. Easy to get to. Parking could get tricky depending on what time you go but we went on a Friday night and parking was easy. As long as First Watch is closed!

Service was so good. Everyone was really sweet and accommodating! No complaints there they all seem to work as a team with each other.

Now to the important stuff, the food. I have to say my picanha burger really lacked what I thought it would be giving. The meat was really really tough and the picanha is cut into little chunks instead of slices or strips which would be easier to eat in a burger. It was so chewy and tough. I did ask for medium well, that could be why but because of that I didn’t enjoy the burger.

Sauces are extra money. So if you wanted a side of sauce it’s extra. Fry upgrades are extra. Everything else is extra, keep this in mind.

My sons burger was really good he just had a basic burger and was happy!

For the 2 of us, it was $50 which in my opinion is extremely overpriced for 2 burgers 2 fries and a Guarana.

I’d love to give this place another try, but to spend so much money and not enjoy the food was a hard pill to swallow! 3 stars,...
