Muh Favorite Spot in the Cove!

I’ve been coming to Won‑Tom’s for over two years now, and it’s not just my top pick in Deerfield Beach — it’s hands-down my favorite spot in the Cove neighborhood. The Wagyu Smash Sando is my personal favorite — juicy, rich, and always on point. I plan my Wednesdays around the half-off deal and make sure to swing by Thursdays too, when select dishes go on discount. It’s become a weekly ritual.

What really sets this place apart is the people.

Troy — “Papa” himself — brings the same heart, professionalism, and neighborly charm that made Papa’s Raw Bar a local institution. Won‑Tom’s carries that torch with pride. The staff aren’t just friendly — they’re extended family. From the kitchen to the food runners, every person is warm, attentive, and clearly proud of the work they do. You feel taken care of here.

The setup is clever: you can post up at The Cove Brewery next door, order from your phone, and the food arrives hot and fast. It’s relaxed, efficient, and always hits the spot.

Won‑Tom’s motto is “Be Kind.” I joke that Troy stole that line from me — but truth is, he just lives it better than most.

If you’re local and haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. If you’re visiting, put this place on your list. It’s not just good food — it’s...

I still couldn't believe that we could order high-quality Asian tapas inside a brewery. And don't be discouraged, Won Tom's take on Asian cuisine is absolutely outstanding. From service, and presentation to quality.

So it's not actually inside the Cove Brewery but it's practically next door. To order, just scan the QR code and place an order on the online app and they'll deliver to your table or wherever you're sitting in the brewery. While waiting for the food to arrive, grab a beer or flight from the bar. Trust me, its worth the wait. We got Drunken Noodles, Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls, Honey Garlic Shrimp & Pork Belly Baos, KFC Bowl, Wagyu Sando, Pork Soup Dumplings, Sticky Pork Belly Skewers and Loaded Korean Tots. I know it's a lot but OMG! Everything was so good. Just the Tots alone will feed 2 people and the flavors of each dish were delightful. This is not your typical Asian eatery. The chef really paid attention to detail using quality ingredients to elevate flavors. Plus the prices are very reasonable. I'm telling you, this is what breweries should be serving and we can't wait to...

I would actually come back here for a second try but what turned me away for good were the employees. While waiting in line for my pickup order, a drunk guy in front of me in line kept bothering me… trying to force me to talk to him, calling me rude for ignoring him… while I just waited there in silence to pick up my meal… just gross behavior.

The cashier noticed this and instead of moving the drunk dude along when it was his turn to pay, actually struck up a convo with him, laughing it up, prolonging it all… at the end of their friendly chat while I waited silently in line, the drunk dude made an additional comment “see, you’re nice dude, she isn’t.”

A properly trained employee and decent human being would have moved the invasive drunk person along instead of leaving me in that situation. Then a second cashier came by and told the guys behind me in line that he could take their order (even though I was next). So I just waited in this weird little extended micro harassment for my pickup order that I could see behind the counter. The frat boy sausage fest “cover your drinks” energy was...

I recently came across this restaurant and decided to give it a try, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. While the presentation was appealing, the flavors didn’t quite live up to the visuals. The edamame in sweet chili sauce was the only standout dish. I had tried the General Tso’s chicken; the sauce had good flavor but lacked the rich, sticky consistency you’d typically expect. It was more watery. The chicken itself was underwhelming, and not as crispy as it should’ve been. We also ordered one of the chicken rice bowls, which was decent, though nothing particularly memorable. The biggest letdown was the spring rolls—so poorly prepared that we didn’t even eat them. They appeared undercooked, with raw dough or flour still visible, suggesting a lack of basic execution in the kitchen. Overall, the restaurant seems to be aiming for an upscale Asian dining experience, but the quality just isn’t there. There are plenty of places nearby offering far better food.
