I saw this place years ago and tried it but don't remember anything about my visit. Sooooo... as I was grabbing some Piada yesterday for lunch, I saw a Noodles & Company across the street. Mental note: "lunch tomorrow." And thus it is now upon the morrow and I shall have it!! I park the car, BOOM! Walk in, BOOM! I slow motion walk to the register in dramatic fashion like how this review is written, BOOM! Customer service is immediately ON POINT!! I explain (for all intents and purposes) that this is my "first time here and I likey me some spicy." I end up getting the spicy Korean beef (steak) with lo mein noodles. Omg, and added chicken and shrimp! LISTEN.... I was beyond pleased at the accommodation. My guy taking my order goes, "which size would you like, we have small and regular." I give him the 'cmon, look at me' face with the ever-so slight head tilt. We both started laughing because he was definitely picking up what I was putting down (see pictures). What i was impressed with was that i got to choose my level of heat from 0-10. I chose 8. I also got an order of 3 potstickers. You can also get an order of 6. They contain both chicken/pork. I grab a bottle each of their teas, which that brand is mediocre at best (mental note: never again). But the food...YO!!!! I was extremely satisfied. I damn near want to call RIGHT NOW and repeat the order for delivery. It was amazing. Definitely glad I went with this place for lunch. I will be returning, no question about it. Its places like these, that are clean and have staff with great interpersonal skills and fresh delicious foods, that make the entire experience well worth while. Try this out for sure guys!! OOHHH, and they honor police/military with a...
Read moreYikes! We had a terrible experience at this location today. We were so disappointed because we've always had a great experience at other locations.
Because my husband is gluten free, we need to be mindful of these limitations. The large menu at the entrance said "see our allergen guide," so we asked the cashier if we could see the allergen guide. The manager stepped in, holding the guide, and said she couldn't give it to us. "Does one of you have an allergy?" the manager asks. My husband indicates yes, him."But what specifically were we asking about?" she asks. "Well, gluten, but can we just see the allergen guide? Your sign up front says 'see allergen guide.'" (Blank stares from behind the counter.) We respond: "Can we see the sheet of paper you're holding and just look for ourselves?" What's the big deal? Are there trade secrets on that allergen paper?
My husband orders Penne Rosa with grilled chicken for me, Pad Thai (which is naturally gluten free) for him, and Kids Spaghetti and Meatballs for our kiddo. After a long wait (which is unusual?), we get our food. No chicken for me and gluten free pasta on my order (which I didn't order). Buttered noodles for the kiddo (which we didn't order). I decide not to say anything about my meal but tell them, "Hey, we ordered a kids spaghetti and meatballs... he's not going to eat these buttered noodles." (He was very excited about the meatballs.) The manager says, "So do you want us to remake it?" (she seemed annoyed). "Um, yes, I want what I ordered." The whole experience was bizarre. We just wanted to be done with our dining experience at that point. I love Noodles and will obviously be back, but Deerfield Twp. was riding the...
Read moreVisited this location last Friday Aug 2nd and ordered Pad Thai with chicken to eat inside restaurant. Noodles were under cooked and my lime had a hair on it. I took the lime out and ate the dish anyway since the hair had not touched the rest of the food. I noticed the dining area had not been cleaned and many dishes with food were piled up in the trays area where you put the dishes when you are finished. despite 5 employees working behind the counter, nobody was concerned about this fact. They seemed to be more concerned about talking and having a good time than doing their job. There were not many patrons dining at the time so it wasn't busy. Finally the cashier- a young man (the only one really working) came out to wipe the tables and somebody else eventually came out and cleared all the piled up dishes. We ate and left. Not sure if the food bad or it was the chicken not properly cooked but I became sick about a couple hours later. I was sick for about 5 days with major stomach issues and it was directly because of the Pad Thai because that was the only thing I ate and I was fine prior to this. We will not visit this location again which is very disappointing. Management needs to keep on top of keeping this restaurant clean and the food prepared...
