Gotti's Grub & Pub — Restaurant in DeLand

Let me start this off by saying the food was absolutely amazing (most definitely an underrated place to eat in downtown DeLand in my opinion). Our server Sapphire was excellent and the entire staff was friendly and accommodating! I never had to ask for a refill, she just knew and you could tell the staff were all working together. Me and my grandmother both had sandwiches: The Lombardi and The Anthony (highly recommended both) but the onion rings are what shocked me the most.. I don’t think i’ve ever had onion rings that good. The breading on them are just chefs kiss. Sapphire also did a great job at explaining how a lot of the ingredients such as the wings are locally sourced which one can definitely appreciate. Safe to say me and my family will be returning....

This is first time we ate here. We dined in for lunch. My husband ordered the Rizzo and I ordered the Moore. The Rizzo was fresh roast beef and provolone with a jus and the Moore was smoked cheddar and muenster. I had fries with mine and husband had the onion rings. The rings were great! The food was tasty and hot. There was no shortage of drink refills. Sapphire greeted us with a terrific smile and took care of our orders. We were the only customers at the time so it was quiet. We entered and were not greeted by any staff, and it seemed to be disorganized, we were hungry and after about 10 minutes of not being acknowledged, we decided it was not the place we wanted to eat. My review does not rate food because we did not have any, but the service and atmosphere left something to be desired.
