Newfangled Modern Market — Local services in DeLand

I wish I could give this shop 10 stars! I stumbled upon the market while walking around downtown for my birthday. I am widely known for being the plant lady among my friends and family. I also collect vintage and antique pieces. I felt like this shop was curated for me personally. The woman working that day gave me a little story about the owners and their journey. She was super sweet and I am beyond stoked to have this hidden gem in the heart of downtown. As though I needed another reason to love Deland! (Pictured is the vintage brass incense burner and matching glass jar with an etched brass lid that I got myself as a birthday gift from the shop) I cannot wait to visit again! It would also be super cool if they started carrying vintage books too. Then I may never...

Love this adorable shop! It is filled with beautiful and hard to find plants, unique antiques and home decor. Im a big plant guy and was thrilled they had a philodendron I have been searching for for a looong time! I love that it is family run and all of the goods are hand picked by the owners. 10/10 highly recommend when visiting the downtown...

Unique and wonderful addition to downtown DeLand. The space is beautifully decorated and brings the dark moody jungle vibes. Wide variety of beautiful plants and vintage home decor. Great place to shop for gifts and everyone there is very knowledgeable about plant care. They also host different classes and events in their gorgeous space....
