Tropi Shack Deland — Restaurant in DeLand

I'm so glad I found this hidden gem as I was looking for a sandwich shop (this place is inside of a food hall). As I walked in I was greeted immediately by your worker named Meme. She didn't rush me or anything as I had a few questions about the menu. I originally wanted a chicken cheese steak sub and since they didn't have that available I ordered a grilled chicken sub. You can get it in a combo which I'm glad I did because the potatoe salad was soooooooo good. The sandwich was a good size portion by it self. Quality ingredients as well. The restaurant was clean and not very busy for a Friday night maybe because it's inside of a food hall. I would have never thought this place was here. After hearing about this Cuban sandwich for years it finally came to me! Living in Deland I didn’t go towards OC very often, so never made the time to go to their original location. The new Deland spot at Northwest Swuare made it so easy to try one for the first time. I would just like to say i finally got a chance to hit the DeLand location and they did not disappoint....have loved there sandwiches for the better part of 3 yrs now from the Orange City location....will definitely definitely be back to try more off the menu but my favorite so far is that Cuban Twist....whoo boy.... thank you for the awesome food and service see you...
