Kid Shelleen's - Branmar Plaza — Restaurant in Delaware

Thank God for the server, I didn't catch her name. Never have I received such poor service. I was at the restaurant as part of a work team building event. We had a party of 6. The poor service started with a drink. When we were placing our orders, I asked for the Korean BBQ chicken sandwich, chips, and Tito's and cranberry. The rest of the table ordered a food item, beverages, and appetizers. When the appetizers came out, so did the drinks, but no Tito's and cranberry. I asked a second time for my drink. Then the main entrees came out. I still don't have a drink. I waited patiently. Next thing I know, I go to taste the chicken sandwich I ordered. It was a Buffalo chicken sandwich, and my co-worker got my Korean BBQ. He had dumped blue cheese on his, so we could not switch. Our server came back. I wasn't going to say anything, but my co-workers did. They asked for a new sandwich, Korean BBQ. The server must have said 4 times, so you want a Buffalo chicken sandwich to which we corrected her to Korean BBQ. I asked for my drink a third time! (You guessed it....still haven't gotten the drink I ordered three times now!!!!!) So the server finally comes back out with my drink and a chicken sandwich. IT WAS WRONG AGAIN! SHE BROUGHT OUT BUFFALO!!!!! We tried pointing out that they were the same, and she literally argued that we were wrong!!!!! Our total bill was over $230. And she was tipped nicely on that amount. NOT BECAUSE HER SERVICE WAS GOOD, but because we, too, work in the service industry. The food was good. The service was poor. Due to the poor service received, I personally WILL NOT go back there. I am truly disappointed with...

I couldn't leave a proper review of the food since we didn't have a chance to try it. The service was nonexistent. I was in a group of 4 on Saturday, March 29, who went for a bite to eat and some drinks. We sat at a high table at the bar, in the corner, closest to the door. After being seated, which was immediately, we sat for a few minutes looking over the menu and waiting to put our drink order in. When no one came, myself and my sister in-law, went to use the restroom and gave our drink order to our husbands to give the waitstaff. No big deal, we understand it was a Saturday, so we just thought they were a bit behind. Came back to the table, and still no waitstaff. After sitting for 15 minutes, I went to the hostess and informed her that no one had been around to wait on us. Still, we were trying to be patient. She immediately walked away from the desk and yelled out to the staff, asking who had our table. I went back to our table, and we waited another 10 minutes before giving up and leaving. I let the hostess know we were going somewhere else and that not one person after an almost half hour showed up to take our order. She just nodded her head. It doesn't matter how good your food is or how great the drinks or atmosphere may be if you never have a chance to try them. My husband, along with a group of about 7 or 8, ate here a week earlier and enjoyed the food. We returned so my sister in law and I could try it. Needless to say, we won't try again. Went to a BBQ place instead, and they were on top of everything, plus the food...

Such a disappointment...we were seated promptly, received our drinks and salads very quickly but then waited an hour for tacos, cheesesteak and burgers in a dead restaurant full of servers and help. It wasn't until we got our waitress' attention after 45 mins and asked her to check on our meal that we finally saw something happen. Another 10 mins , 3 of 4 meals delivered to the table with a promise of,"I'll be right back with your tacos", the waitress/ bartender went back to the bar, chatted with someone, poured a beer, chatted some more and then seemed to realize she hadn't gotten the last meal out to us. We gave her the cold shoulder when she finally served the last meal ... Turkey Burger was awful...it's a signature burger at sister restaurant in the city, have had it multiple times...was rubber, and cold in middle. Couldn't eat it. Like it was thrown in the microwave frozen rubber...taco was a daily special and was just ok. Regular burger and chicken cheesesteak were fine. Waitress came back after our cold shoulder and apologized for our delayed dinner, saying MGMT comped beers off as apology. Felt like too little too late...never saw manager. Really expected more from a restaurant we've enjoyed for years in a...
