This place is freaking delicious! I 100% recommend and here’s why:
While our server was super kind and absolutely adorable, we noticed it took us significantly longer to get our drinks and food than the tables surrounding us. Buuut when the food finally arrived, we were all amazed and found we 100% didn’t mind the wait!
🍣Multiple orgasm roll: 10/10 (I find myself dreaming about this one!)
🍣 Aspen roll: 10/10 (it was delicate and flavorful, by far one of my top favorites!)
🍣 Caterpillar roll: 8/10 (if you like strawberries this is a must try! I’m not usually a fan of the savory/sweet mix but this one had me reevaluating my opinion.)
🍣 Hapa roll: 8/10 (compared to the other flavors we had, this one felt underwhelming but it’s such a staple to order because you can always gauge a place by its simpler rolls. And I can tell you, it didn’t disappoint. It was fresh and the kick on the back end was perfect!)
🍹 My friend who had the G-Spot would give it a 10/10. My personal preference would say 8/10. I wanted more of the raspberry flavor to pop through.
🍹 My sister had the Soju Blossom and she recommends 10/10! I enjoyed that it wasn’t overly sweet but I felt like something was missing so I’d say 8/10 for this one too!
🍹 I ordered a liquid crystal but looking over the menu, I don’t think that’s what I got. I remember the one I drank had egg whites in it when I asked sooo now I’m not sure what I had…so I feel like rating it...

I came to Hapa Sushi to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from start to finish.
Our server was inattentive and the service overall was extremely slow. We were asked early on if we wanted to split the check, we said yes, and she confirmed it wouldn’t be an issue. However, when the check was finally dropped, she had us circle and initial what we ordered, which felt disorganized and unusual.
Things went downhill from there. We had a reservation to go bowling after dinner, but nearly 30 minutes passed after handing over our cards, and we still hadn’t received them back. We finally had to ask for a manager. When the server returned, the checks were completely wrong, one person was charged over $100, another just $3. When we asked for an itemized bill, she ignored us and walked away.
The manager showed up for the first time that evening, offered a lukewarm apology, and said he couldn’t fix the charges or print the original bill. He gave one friend a $100 gift card, but the checks remained incorrect and nothing was resolved.
The food was just okay, not as fresh or flavorful as I’ve had at Hapa in the past. Combined with the chaotic service and lack of accountability, it made for a really disappointing night, especially for a birthday celebration. Save your money, there are far better options for...
Read moreDecided to try a new place today and this was close and had 4.5 stars. We were looking for a casual spot cause we left the gym late and didn’t want to cook at 9:30pm.. saw this place opens late which was great.
The service was good. The server was friendly, she was running around the whole time so i appreciate her attentive efforts.
The food was okay. We ordered the hapa spicy tuna, the crunch and the shrimp tempura. The sushi looked how i would expect it to if i were to try to make it myself at home. definitely not the best shrimp tempura i ever had. There was no tempura shrimp but rather just a shrimp on the end. I also order calamari almost every chance i get in different restaurants. I’d say this calamari lacked the crispiness you would expect but it was meaty. so while i was not impressed with the “fries” it was okay. protein right. also got the pork bellly which i really appreciate the portions of meat, it lacked a crispy skin that would’ve made it much better.
yuzu margarita was good. kudos to the server / bartender but i was not impressed by the food.
the vibe was chill. good for a late night spot, but the chefs weren’t Sato from tokyo Vice...
