Wonderful place I just tried for the first time Dining in. Was a simple experience. The waiter brought my food out quickly but my friends took a considerable amount of time to come out after is my only major complaint. The desert was also scalding hot without warning so I certainly burned my mouth. That said the flavor is delicious the prices are fair and the attitude of the workers is generally upbeat and friendly. One last complaint was we asked to see the desert menu and the waitress waited directly next to us while we perused and discussed things and just felt a bit invasive or claustrophobic you know but it's not a terrible complaint. That said everyone was mostly smiles and did ask a couple times how we were enjoying the food. I will absolutely return and the large chicken Tikka cheesesteak as strange as it sounds is actually delicious, I got medium spice and it was good, but next time I'm comfortable requesting a level of heat up or 2. Overall high recommend. They also are open very late which is a massive plus for me. The momo is a bit overpriced imo, since you get 8pcs I think it was for 20 dollars or so, but it was good so whatever. My cheesesteak was definitely my personal favourite item I tried tonight and look forward to...
Read moreA family-owned American Indian fusion restaurant, where have you been all my life? In all seriousness, this is one of the best places I've eaten in downtown and I consistently order from them when I'm at work. Maybe it's just my love of spicy food and my American habits with eating. But the tikka masala sandwich (Chicken) is one of my favorite foods now, where else? Also could you get a spicy burger where they actually remember to season the damn meat. Times are tough right now and I don't have a lot of money to spend on food, so I really hope these guys continue to do well and I will continue to contribute as much as I can. The only reason I rated the service lower is because I've had difficulties communicating with people in person there before. However, this was when they first started opening and the problem has likely resolved itself with practice in time. The interior is gorgeous with a bar like atmosphere and table. Though unfortunately I have not eaten in a lot recently so I can't remember much more than that. Also their mango milk drink (I know it has a name I don't remember right now) is so butterly smooth. I managed to not pour alcohol into it ;P. An excellent choice if you're looking for some truly authentic American melting...
Read moreThis place is whatever you would call better than phenomenal. It’s the perfect example of what fusion food should be.
First thing that caught my eye was the mango lassi milkshake. Sounds insane and was insane. Perfect blend of the two, with neither being overwhelming.
We started with the vegetable samosas and these were simply the best samosas I’ve ever had. It comes with a sweet and slightly tart tamarind sauce that really helped round out the flavor. The samosas had a slight curry flavor that made me fall in love with it.
Then, the reason we came here- the lamb tikka cheese fries. While not my favorite type of fry, this was incredible. The lamb was so flavorful and the accompanying creamy Gaia sauce (“creamy guy sauce”) and tikka sauce sent this over the moon.
Lastly we got the chicken tikka masala cheesesteak. Think a cheesesteak format except instead of beef and cheese, it’s filled with flavorful and juicy chicken tikka. Combined with the yogurt sauce, this was done so well. The bread was also the perfect vessel- light and chewy but also strong and crunchy at the same time.
I haven’t been this blown away by a restaurant in a long time. Best meal I’ve had in...
