If I could write a "0" review, I would. I ordered what should have been $39 worth of food, they charged $46 (my rommate went downstairs and picked it up so he didn't notice, may I add he tipped generously). When I called and told the lady that we were over charged she immediately said we did not over charge you! I said ok let's go over it.. Went through the items one by one and she added $1 to each pad thai even though the menu that I had in my hand (was mailed to my apartment last week) was a $1 less..then we moved on and I still told her it's not right. Then she said oh you wanted the pad thai spicy and we use habaneros that's $1 extra (um which by the way it was not hot at all..there was one red pepper-like in Mexican dishes -pozole etc. Not a habanero)..even after that it still did not add up to the amount charged. By then I knew she was lying, I told her that was wrong and that I will not be coming back. Oh and if you want my thoughts on the food, DO NOT order sushi - definitely not sushi grade tasted like thawing fishy ice (couldn't even eat it and I'm not a picky eater) The pad thai was soupy. Basically all ingredients are cheap, no flavor and they try to rip you off. Do not recommend save your money for a nice Texas Roadhouse steak. Or better yet I highly recommend iFish Ramen down the street- great prices and sushi...

My fiancé and I decided to eat here because it was right above the Sakura Cherry Blossom Festival on the 2nd floor, and my goodness this place has the best Chinese food I've eaten since moving to Denver. If youre trying to beat the crowds, we went here around 4 or 5pm, beat the dinner rush. My fiancé had been looking for a place with good Pad Thai, and she said her food was exceptional. I've been here before and had the Sesame chicken, which is always amazing, but this time, I tried fried rice with just egg. Best fried rice in a thousand miles. The lady who helped us was so kind and funny. She took care of us, and it felt homely, like I was back in Hawaii eating at the authentic Chinese places. I feel bad for not catching her name, but it felt like when you come home from school and Ma takes care of your meal and it's too good and somehow nostalgic. Prices are reasonable, and portions are pretty generous considering the state of the world. I left full and happy that there was Cocacola. I got my fiancé a Boba tea to go, and we decided that we will be coming back as long as we live here in CO. Can't beat good food and good service, a place that values their customers and values the...

I am pretty disappointed, ordered for Delivery and when given the total it seemed about $3 too high but decided not to make a big deal and just wait to see what the food is like. Maybe the online menu is out of date.

45 min later, I still had no food, called and got a voice mail, called back and was told that they got stuck but were on the way. An hour later, no food. My bank account has already been charged.

Ok- One hour and ten minutes later I have food. My order is wrong. I hate steamed rice and I got steamed rice not fried like I ordered, and my food (except wontons) is barely even warm. The wontons I was excited to try are cold. I was so hungry I accepted food (I called and cancelled on the phone and the lady said whatever and hung up on me-she also said the menu has gone up) because the driver said he got a flat.

All in all the (cold) food is not that good and this was a bad experience. They could have offered a few bucks of for my inconvenience and really they could not...

One good thing working downtown is the opportunity to try out all the restaurants normally would not take the trip to try out. JJ Bistro on the second floor of the Sakura Square is a such example. It has been a staple here as far back as I can remember, but never climbed the stairs to eat there. As my new year resolution is to explore more Asian restaurants downtown, JJ Bistro was a perfect candidate (since it was within walking distance from my office). The restaurant was quite roomy and had the traditional American Chinese restaurant feel. Ordered my favorite sesame chicken. For lunch, it came with a spring roll and cheese wonton. The sesame chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside with a sweet, spicy and tangy taste. Surprisingly better than many other sesame chicken in town. Certainly will come back. Heard their black bean sauce dishes were among the must tries.

The entrance is a little hard to find, due to the main stairs being blocked off, but if you go around the building by the dumpster there is a hidden staircase. As soon as you walk in, the lights are down low, but the atmosphere is very familiar, and calm. The service is excellent, i was treated with love and care, and the food was most definitely made with love. The food was more than delicious, and i love how the woman always checks up on the costumers. Great restaurant for a first date, or a calm meal and conversation. 5 stars.
