My family and I came here to try out their mini golf. I have tried many different mini golf courses throughout many different states over the years, and originally, when I looked at the site, it looked like they were going to have some pretty interesting holes. However, as I go through the course, even though the artwork of the various holes, is very nice, it's just another black light based mini golf course, that is mainly a bar. There are no walls surrounding the different holes, only very short edges, and for us Heavy Hitters, that can't help it sometimes, it creates a lot of problems. Some of the turns, and expected routes of these mini golf balls, are pretty much impossible, unless you are an expert mini golfer. I am not. I just come for the fun of it, in hopes of finding a vintage Mini Golf Course with moving parts, like the old days, but those are hard to find these days. In addition, I'm allergic to alcohol, and my wife doesn't drink, so because they allow people to carry their alcoholic drinks around with them, and place them on tables near the mini golf holes, the whole place smells of disgusting stale beer and liquor, which is offensive to my nostrils. However, I will say, that the staff has been very friendly and welcoming. I think they should focus more on the mini-golf side of things, and less on the alcoholic side of things. In addition, this is the most confusing hole setup, and we keep on getting lost. In addition, my two-year-old ended up tripping and hitting her head on one of the low positioned drink tables. I guess there's something like three different games you can go through here, in regards to mini golf, but we are having a lot of trouble keeping your back of our children at the same time as trying to figure out which hole comes next. So we ended up leaving much earlier than we expected, and since we are a low-income family, we have thrown away 45 bucks. Everyone kept asking me what I wanted, and all that I wanted, was my money back (Update: They were good enough to refund our money, which helped a bit financially). I really hope those folks decide to remake their mini golf course setup, or just turn it all into a giant bar, where kids are not allowed. The best part, was probably red number four I think it was, like the old marble Labyrinth tables, made into a four-person race. Plus the fact that a tall gentleman with his golfing party, behind us, was very polite, and told us to take our time, unlike the other people, who seemed to...
Read moreHad to give two stars because we had a lot of laughs, mostly because of how awful the mini golf was. They boast a lot of holes but it’s only because of how tiny they are. All of the fun gadgets were broken, incomplete or straight up don’t function. There’s this toilet bowl themed hole where you drop your ball in and it doesn’t go anywhere. One of the holes that definitely draws hype is this room that blasts fake money around, which is neat, but not functional for playing mini golf. Many of the holes were crammed into small areas and the way you exit is through where you enter which I’ve never seen at a mini golf place before. There was no flow to anything. People were confused where the next hole was or how to proceed after the first 9. The lack of functionality to the holes also made the wait time longer. There’s either no boundary or one that doesn’t hold up to a strong putt so balls from other holes are going everywhere. I almost got hit with a ball the moment I walked into the place. The last hole of the first 9 has a ball disposal that was overflowing with other peoples golf balls. 6 holes into the back 9 there’s a snakes and ladders hole where my wife dropped her ball in and never saw it again. That was around the time we left. Everything, and I mean everything, is shoddy. Most holes are so small there’s no shoulder room to line up to putt. The list goes on. It’s very clear they’re trying to build hype on social media through sets / props, encouraging people to take photos. That may work for a strong opening, but everyone there seemed to be having a similar experience to us. Once the novelty wears off, I can’t see why people would...
Read moreI had the absolute best experience at Holey Moley!! This place is so much fun, and I love how many creative options for mini golf holes they have. The drinks were incredible but somehow the service was even better than all of that! As a customer, and service industry employee I really appreciated my experience with the workers at this establishment. To start off the journey, we entered and it was packed! Lleana who was slammed at the front was so helpful getting me and my guest set up for the courses. She was all smiles, even after helping so many people in front of us. Really appreciated the positive and wonderful welcome to this place. Then we made our way up to the bar. Deven, our bartender was super friendly and helped guide us through the drink menu based on our liquor preference, she made an incredible cocktail and took the time to make something special for my friend who is picky about her drinks haha.
Then to top it off!! I believe her name was Nina, I could never forget her amazing laugh, but even more her fantastic service at the bar and running around the place making sure everyone was taking care of. We were fortunate enough to talk to her, and her personality made us so comfortable it felt like we had been friends for years. My friend with me when we left said it was the most memorable experience she has had with an employee in a long time! Unbeknownst to Nina it was my friend’s birthday and she said it was one of the best nights she has had in a long long time! So thank you Nina, thank you Deven, thank you lleana, and thank you Holey Moley for a night we will...
