Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype or Price 💰

I asked a friend where I could get some great food, and she highly recommended Mike High Hibachi Express. Even though it was a 30-minute drive for me, she convinced me it was worth it, saying, “Money can come back, but time can’t.” The price of $40 for a plate seemed insane for a food truck, but I was sold on the idea of trying something unique.

When I arrived and ordered, I wasn’t impressed. The food was decent, but certainly not worth the drive or the price. It came in a basic plastic food storage small container, which didn’t help the experience. I asked for extra white sauce in exchange for a Google review, but the lady at the counter insisted on charging me $0.50. The sauce cups were very small, and even the lady behind me agreed it should come with more. She even offered to pay for it for me, but I ended up paying for it myself hoping they would value a life long customer over $0.50

Overall, the service didn’t make me feel valued as a customer. A small gesture, like providing extra sauce without a charge, could have made me a returning customer. For $40, I could have had a much better experience at a sit-down hibachi restaurant with a chef cooking in front of me. The food and service just didn’t match the price tag, the food was too salty and I...

I can’t recommend Mile High Hibachi enough. My experience was a little bit different from the local Denver area. I had a daughter celebrating her 20th birthday across the country from Pennsylvania in Denver. I relied 100% on Mile High Hibachi for making this an unforgettable experience for her. They kept in constant contact with me for the planning aspect of the party, and the kids had the most wonderful time. My daughter said it was her best birthday ever. Mile High Hibachi arrived on time, set up a beautiful area in their living room, bringing everything we needed to make the party spectacular. The kids told me the food was delicious, the chef was highly entertaining and interactive, and everybody had a blast. Thank you, Mile High Hibachi. You made this mom missing her college...

I had been wanting to try this place but oh my god let me tell you. $50 for a steak chicken combo and a shrimp single plate. Well we thought we were about to get a big white clamshell of rice, good portion of veggies and some meat. No. The portion is so small compared to what “hibachi” is supposed to be. I mean 8 shrimp? And the depth of the box is one layer of rice? The NY Strip is cut into thin strips. The veggies are sparse. The yum yum isn’t anything but salt and pepper. Then with every bite it was like a spoon of salt. Then followed by a big punch of pepper. Only ate it because we spent so much on it. Never again. It’s a shame that food in Denver is expensive and then gotta...
