This is not your typical smashburger but you’ll wish it was!! Get to know a ‘lace burger’ here!! When I asked my husband, who has a personal and complex burger rating system, what he’d give Twan’s he said “It’s in its own category. I can’t give it a number. It’s perfect!” He rarely calls anything perfect 😝 I like the basic burger without add-ons. I don’t go for a ton of burgers because they seem to feel like a meat bomb. This one is satisfying and flavorful but doesn’t leave me feeling over-stuffed. The basic comes with two lace patties (each topped with a slice of cheese) but my husband has decided ‘perfect’ includes a third patty added on. He says it still doesn’t make him overly stuffed… again, it’s perfect. We also like the location and sitting on the patio with drinks from the neighbor...

I have travelled throughout the country for my job and tried many different burgers. Some burgers add extra ingredients to make their burgers different or stand out. Twans does none of that and does not need to. This burger stands out on its own. It is hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. You want a great burger that doesn’t need frills to make it taste good or sell? This is it. Do not pass up the opportunity to have this burger. The flavors are all on point from the saltiness & fattiness of the patties, to the tanginess of the pickles, to the slight sweetness from the bun and sauce. It's evident every part of this eating experience was thought out and nothing was an accident.
