J's Crab N Wing — Restaurant in DeSoto

The frozen daiquiris were great but that's all that was great about this place. When I entered the building I was immediately hit by a pungent smell reminiscent of a retirement home. My family and I placed our orders then waited for our food. The waitress who brought my crab boil neglected to give me something to crack the crab legs with, so I had to go ask for utensils. The crab was good (it's hard to ruin boiled crab), but the rest of the food was barely edible. The boiled shrimp looked old and had a rubbery texture like it had been reheated from earlier that day. It also hadn't been deveined, so I was essentially fed shrimp poop. The potatoes were undercooked and hard. The fried shrimp, fried oysters, and fried wings were not fresh. They were all frozen foods that you could find in a box at a local Walmart. Many will love the fries, kids will love their fresh tasty seasoned fries!

I will definitely be going back atleast 2 times a week I live an hour away but it's worth it, it's a a very clean place and very spacious for parties or family dinners!

They have a whole other side of the restaurant that would be great for meetings, conferences or a group dinner! It's close to freeway as well!

You must check it out atleast once! I am 99% sure you will love it!❤️

22 of October, 2018 This was much first time coming here on a whem and wanting to try a new seafood place from my usual which is already great. But I went in at about 3pm on a weekday and the service was good( reason for one star) but most importantly the food was terrible. The shrimp was really over cooked and tough to take the shell off and the crab was a pretty good size but the sauce was horrendous the food tasted dirty and not fresh I wasn’t sure if it was just the sauce or what. I got my food Togo and I wish I’d stayed to get my money back or even exchange it most of the food went into the rash because I couldn’t bare eating the...
