Birmingham Deli — Restaurant in Detroit

Birmingham Deli is located in the Millender Center of Jefferson Ave. If you’re staying at the Ren Cen Marriott it’s easy to get there thru the indoor walkway. Service was fast and friendly.

It’s a simple no frills breakfast or ideal lunch place in the winter when the weather is bad as you don’t have to venture outside.

We ordered the Reuben on rye (usually comes on an onion roll) and the Atomic Sandwich which is pastrami and corned beef. Sandwiches were made nicely and there was a decent amount of meat given.

I was surprised and happy to see they also had National brand chili! A bowl of that was delicious. You can’t leave Detroit without trying either National or Onassis chili! If you grew up in Detroit and are in town briefly, you can...

I don't see how you all have 4.4 star rating the food is nasty and you all cannot cook. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and my chicken was not grilled and it bland and nasty and not thoroughly cooked. The last time I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was also horrible my bread was not toasted not once but twice nobody should have to ask for a breakfast sandwich bread to be toasted....

Terrible place to eat. Hot no air dirty sticky floors no water to drink. Water is dripping out of the sides of the soda machine into little cups ordered chicken shawarma plate about a tablespoon of lettuce and tomatoes not many to put on 4 pieces of 🍞 chicken had a hair cooked in it. Health department needs to shut this...
