The one star is completely for the service and the lack therof.
The service at this restaurant was highly disappointing. The server Rock was unprofessional and displayed a clear lack of basic customer service skills. To make matters worse, when raised concerns, the restaurant manager Cody Hovinga gave a robotic, automated response that showed no genuine care for resolving the issue.
The lack of customer care from both the staff and management made the experience frustrating and unwelcoming. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting quality service or thoughtful management.
server Rock left the worst impression and one question how they are allowed to be in food service. not only did he fail to provide exemplary service but displayed an unprofessional attitude by requesting us a visiting party to separate dining fees ourselves, blaming us for not telling him it was separate bills. It is your responsibility as a server to actually return to the table and consult “will this be together or separate “ before printing out the final bill.
To add to that inexplicably, another party’s dining bill was included with theirs. This level of service is unacceptable, especially considering the inconvenience endured. no effort was made to offer a discount or any form of compensation to acknowledge the disruption caused. Instead, the situation was handled in a manner that showed little regard for customer satisfaction.
left a lasting negative impression. Based on this visit, FUELL cannot be recommended for any future gatherings or...
Read moreI have no idea how this place has almost perfect reviews and so few of them considering the size of this hotel.
I went to dinner with a group at about 8:30 pm. I thought this would be an easy one considering the timing, but it was brutal. The food was horrible. I got the ravioli and it tasted like nothing but olives. It arrived luke warm after over a 30 minute wait. The good news here was that the server saw that the three people in my party who ordered this dish didn't eat it and he comped all of us.
Other than comping us on the bad food, the service was horrible. We waited 10 minutes at least between each visit. We got no drink refills despite being there for over an hour and a half. They even asked us if we wanted extra pita bread and then charged us without making that cost clear. They seemed understaffed and you seated yourself so the whole thing felt really inefficient. When I told the server that the ravioli was horrible he literally said to me "you're not telling me anything I don't know." Which seemed super weird. Wish we could have gotten that tip before we ordered. They should probably take that item off the menu if this is such a well known issue.
The breakfast was MUCH better but we also had a voucher and the breakfast was continental So we didn't have to wait. They had a hard time keeping everything restocked especially the eggs, but it at least tasted good and the...
Read moreThe service is what really made this place so great. I came for a conference meeting and I went out with a bunch of friends. I came and sat late but everyone seemed to be in a good mood. Our delightful waiter made sure everything went perfect. Martel Johnson was funny, relatable, and in my eyes, one of the best waiters they have at Fuell. Even when I order the wrong drink, I was able to switch it out and he gave great recommendations on which ones to choose. I ended up with blue lagoon or a blue drink with citron I think. I ordered the turkey burger and it tasted exactly how I imagined it was going to be. It was quite delicious. Now my friends ordered the same thing the day before and the Pantry didn't make it exactly to their specifications but this isn't a review on the pantry. The wait time for the food was over 15 minutes and it seemed awfully long.
Overall, food was good just a really long wait time for the amount of people that was there. Service was great thanks to Martel Johnson. And the atmosphere was filled with joy...
