I recently had the misfortune of dealing with House of Pure Vin, and I can confidently say that their customer service is an absolute joke. From the moment of my inquiry about a wine tasting service, I was met with a complete lack of attention and courtesy. Not was I made to pay a deposit before initial consultation, but I expected a 48 hour turn around from my own, which did not happen. Their website stated that once the deposit is paid, someone would reach out to further discuss my inquiry. I had followed up with them for two weeks until someone contacted me. Regina was incredibly unprofessional. She scheduled many meetings with me to plan my birthday wine tasting. She was late for each one of them, only joining our virtual meetings once I inquired about where she was. Regina seemed more interested in chatting opposed to meeting regarding the service. When I explicitly requested Chuck as our sommelier given the run around as to his availability. She repeatedly accepted blame for her poor service but did not get better. As my wine tasting drew near, I was not provided with a curated wine list as she had promised. Moreover, when I followed up, she simply sent me a low grade screenshot. My experience with Regina and Pure House of Vin got worse until I decided to cancel. I explained to her my very valid reasons and she tried placing blame elsewhere while simultaneously placating me. I was met with a condescending and dismissive attitude. To add insult to injury, when I requested my deposit back, it was denied. In short, my experience at House of Pure Vin was an unmitigated disaster, and I would advise anyone to consider another establishment when thinking of an at home wine...
Read moreMe and my love purchased our wine club membership a couple of months ago, have enjoyed ourselves the few times we've been in for tastings and the staff is very helpful. I'm unable to give 5 stars due to our experience with our membership. We were told we would receive a text and email each month when our orders are ready for pick up. As of today, we still have yet to receive either. Last month I called, found out it was ready and went to pick up our bottles. This month we were busy and I realized we have not received an alert about our order so, I called and was informed "oh it's here and I could come anytime". I asked about the email or text alert and was told "you can just come anytime after the first of each month". Not what we were told when we signed up and I'm not happy about this. At this point I'm happy we didn't upgrade like I really wanted to and we only purchased one of the lower wine club memberships. Ijust wish the subscription was a better experience for me with this being our...
Read moreIt really needs to be specified on the website that personally shopping for wine when they have brunch is not an option; We came in today and was greeted very nicely and told we could go shop, we told the person who greeted us we didn’t need help were just looking for something new so we needed to just look. She said fine and to let her know if we needed assistance. And as we proceeded to go look we were abruptly stopped almost being pushed by another worker telling us we couldn’t and we could only just tell someone what we wanted, I understand if this is the rule but it needs to be explained to All workers and put on the website for other customers to know prior to coming in; the way we were treated was very rudely. We try to stay local and support and usually buy two bottles a piece, but this experience made us leave and not...
