My recent visit to the bar around 3:00 on 03/09/24 with coworkers was a rollercoaster of emotions. Initially, the bartenders' lack of attention felt rude, especially when compared to the service others received. A noteworthy incident while sitting at the bar involving the bartender's choice of music on her iPhone added an interesting twist. As a Carpenter song played over the establishment's speaker system, after the bartenders direct observance of our excitement, the music was cut short when she promptly changed the track. While I realize this may not be everyone's choice in music it was on their playlist and the rude bartender saw our excitement and internally changed the music giving us the impression of aggressiveness and feeling very unwelcomed. This "ironically" happened again with another Carpenters song 10 minutes later in the evening leaving us puzzled by the intentional abrupt shifts in the playlist. To cap off the night, out of nowhere, she printed our bill and aggressively slammed it down in front of us. The overall experience was a blend of initial disappointment, quirky musical moments, and an unexpected, intentionally rude behavior/ end to...
Read moreThe drinks are well made. However, the customer service is severely lacking. There is complete lack of professionalism all around, from the bouncers/ security to the bartenders. The security personal blatantly accept bribes to allow patrons to skip others in line, unfairly increasing the wait time for those who came first. The bar tenders make up ridiculous out-of-pocket rules. Especially one specific bartender, a skinny white male with a beard. This visit he told me that they stop making Long Island Ice Tea drinks after 9pm. That makes no sense. All the ingredients are there. You don’t suddenly forget how to do your job after 9. He has also declined to make lemon drop shots in the past , stating it’s just sugar and water. I didn’t know bartenders could make on-the-fly rules about their job. I will likely avoid this place from now on. It’s not worth the hassle. I rather waste my precious time in they’re long line, while others can show up and pay to skip other. Also, if I have hear another made up, out of no where policy from said bartender,...
Read moreGoogle says it closes at 2 . I finished working down the street at 1:20 , arrived at 1:40. All my friends from work were in waiting for me . I told the guy at the door I just needed a beer, I really had a rough day and that it was still 20 mins before 2. My friend came out from inside . The guy at the door (tall, long braids, cute) he kept saying no , no matter how much I begged . That was very disappointing. I just move to Detroit . I just needed one beer with my friends to easy out the rough day and it was very disappointing .
Suggestion don’t tell people you close at 2am when you really close at 1:30am because that is called “lying” to your potential guests . If you had the correct closing time in google (1:30) and not a lie (2am) I wouldn’t even had gone there .
I’m a bartender down the street from you , and if google says the restaurant closes at 11pm we let people in until 11pm. That’s proper customer service...
