I was recently at this restaurant during the breakfast shift and witnessed something very unprofessional that I think management should be aware of. While dining, I observed a pregnant manager loudly scolding one of the staff in front of customers, including myself. The employee had made a small mistake, but the way the manager handled itāraising her voice, using profanity, and doing so in front of guestsācame across as unnecessarily harsh and inappropriate. My server went from a ball of sunshine and cheer to slightly deflated and apologetic when there was no real need to be.
Everyone makes mistakes, but addressing them in such a public and aggressive manner reflects poorly on the establishment. It made the atmosphere uncomfortable for customers and, Iām sure, for the employee as well. A more professional and respectful approach would go a long way toward creating a better environment for both staff and guests.
Overall, my service was great and the food was great however the pregnant manager jumping down her employees throat left me walking out of the restaurant with a taste of guilt in my mouth instead of the delicious food. I will consider upping my star rating, however, I would need to see this...

Saturday morning the Bartender/Server was a very polite and efficient gentleman - he was the only server and managed to keep everything rolling. My eggs Benedict was very good. Mimosas were flowing. But by Saturday evening, we came down for dinner at 5 and could not get service. There were 2 servers. We waited 20 minutes at the bar and simply could not get their attention. It was not busy, maybe 4 others. Another customer sitting by us at the bar said āyouāre about to lose customers hereā to no reaction. So we went to next door to Sullivanās in the Westin. (Fabulous btw). Sunday morning despite having paid for the breakfast vouchers at Indigo, and despite the restaurant supposed to open at 6:30 am, it was not open. No one was there. The bartender let us know it was only bar seating since there was limited staff. Ok cool. We order our drinks (since we only had a drink menu) honestly I thought maybe they didnāt serve food.
Until⦠an older white woman came into the bar and was given drink and food menus. But ok⦠the other white guy at the bar was only given a drink menu. Was he asked if he wanted a food menu? Idk, all I know is, we werenāt given a food menu.
Then⦠that same white woman, got up from the bar and moved her seat into the general seating area⦠after we were told āonly bar seating due to limited staff.ā
I canāt help what I notice. Even if food started at a certain time, we were never offered a food menu or asked.
Anyway, i feel we may have been judged by our dress. Thatās ok, the nurse and finance professional wonāt be back š.
