Starbucks — Restaurant in Dothan

Not exactly a Starbucks, but S. Alabama is not exactly civilised, so why would you expect it to be? The coffee was too hot (I specified MOSTLY hot, but cool enough not to strip flesh from my mouth), but at least I didn't have to explain what a quad black & white mocha was. Or worse, tell them how to make it. I couldn't use my SB gold card, or even check my points or status, but I haven't done that since crossing the line into 1843... I mean the AL state line. It was in a Barnes & Noble, so that was nice. It was quiet, because most people here don't read anything beyond a Budweiser cap, but the few people in there were nice... enough not to talk to me. Smallish dining area, nice pastry selection, but overall, it felt kinda dreary. Maybe that's what to expect at noon on a Wednesday in a bookstore, here, but god I wish I'd never moved back to this place. This "Starbucks" brought those feelings to the front of my mind. Maybe not all your fault, but 3 stars for the atmosphere being less uplifting than...

We are “blessed” to have this Seattle, Washington transplant in Dothan

Pick-up service is easy by taking the route through the parking lot past Jersey Mike’s to past AT&T & turning left & following the driveway to the pick-up window

To pick-up in person, the Starbucks is the 1st building in the strip-mall

Just let yourself in & proceed to the counter nearest the doors for quick & attentive service

To order in person, just follow the arrows to the back part of the dining room, turn left & head for the check-out counter where someone will gladly assist you

There is plenty of comfy seats indoors & outside seating with large sun-shade umbrellas

Extremely Poor Service - Avoid This Location!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at this coffee shop today. I pulled into the drive-thru line, excited to get my late night coffee, but what I got was a 30+ minute wait in line.

To make matters worse, when I finally reached the window to order, I was told that they were no longer serving and had to turn me away. Unbelievable!

What's even more shocking is that there was a whole line of other cars behind me, and I can only imagine how frustrated they must have been.

The lack of communication and poor management of the drive-thru line is unacceptable. If you're going to close early, at least have the decency to let your customers know before they waste their time waiting in line.

Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location and would advise others to...
