Chicken House — Restaurant in Dover

I found out about this place through a mailer of their menu. It looked worth trying, and it definitely exceeded my expectations.

When you come in, there's minimal seating but it seems like most people come in for take out orders anyway. We dined in and got the chicken tender C combo with fries and monster fries (topped with cheese and bacon) plus chicken house sauce. We also ordered the black diamond milk tea. Everything about the meal was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy. The fries were perfectly crisp and stayed that way for a long time. The chicken house sauce isn't an unfamiliar taste but nevertheless tasted good. The boba stunned me with how perfect the tapioca pearls were cooked and the quality of the black tea. It's hard to think of any negative feedback on what I ate.

Service was quick, and the staff was kind and polite. I like avocado boba and asked if they used real avocado as opposed to powdered flavoring, and the man up front gave me a confident "Of course!" as if it was wild to think they'd even consider using a powder.

I'm looking forward to the next opportunity I have to enjoy another delicious...

They lost a long term customer over a few cents. We have bought food from Chicken House from the first few days they opened till about yesterday.

While being near the area, wife asked for the fries since we both love the fries. Ordered the regular and monster fries online, she wanted the buffalo sauce and I tried to add that online but wasn’t an option. So for our $10 item I stilled tipped them 15% cause I try to support local businesses.

Only for us to go pick it up, and I asked for buffalo sauce and that I’m more than happy to pay if you can add that to my order or pay with my debit/credit card. They asked if I had cash and I went back to my car to check, we just cleaned it out and had no spare change. So I went back to mention that I didn’t have change.

I watched as the worker reached into the bag and take out the $1 worth of sauces…I’m baffled since I could have just not tipped and used that for the sauce? But I didn’t. I wanted to pay for it all online, which I couldn’t because it wasn’t an option. So yeah believe it or not, you guys lost a repeat customer, over a $1.

I came here not expecting much, a new place more chicken, but was surprised to see and taste how good the chicken was, I got tenders and it is cooked nicely, with any side of my choosing I got fries and you can’t really mess up fries they were good. I went in with a family member and they got wings, I tried one she had the honey hot wings and it had a decent flavor to it, sweet and spicy is always a good combo and I think they nailed a good taste to the legendary combo of flavors. The service was great I didn’t get their names but there was two lady’s in the front and they were very accommodating and had a nice attitude towards us and other customers, the place looked clean and the table and seats were unique and it had a nice color and atmosphere to the inside, all in all it’s a 5 I do recommend trying for yourself to have your own opinion as well.
