I have been to this restaurant NUMEROUS/DOZENS of times before but my experience on 12/27/16 sealed the deal that I will not be returning again. I arrived at 7:55 with a party of 8, which is a whole table full of the Hibachi tables. They seated a couple of 2 immediately before us. Then the hostess, who appeared to be the manager because later she was troubleshooting a problem for a waiter who didn't know how to enter in the register someone's dinner request that wasn't on the menu....anyway she told us that my party would need to wait 5-10 minutes because they didn't have any tables for us and that this other table was getting ready to leave and all they had to do was clear it off and then we would be seated. We said ok but were confused because we could see that there were at least three Hibachi tables that were completely empty that we could have been seated at..but we waited, and waited, and waited... the members in my party were tired of waiting and looking up other restaurants on their cellphones for us to go to. Not once did they offer to get us a drink or address us as we waited letting us know what was going on. No apology for the wait - NOTHING!! Finally, I walked over to the girl, who I perceived to be the manager, and asked her to explain again why we were still waiting when I could see that there were empty tables. She said that they only open up a certain amount of tables because they only have a certain amount of staff on hand and that we were waiting for the patrons at this other table to leave. I asked her why we couldn't have been seated at on of the other tables and at least gotten our drinks and soup/salad (which comes with almost every meal) rather than making us wait indefinitely. Afterall, the chefs rove the restaurant cooking at the different tables, how difficult would it have been for him to walk to another table to cook for us rather than cooking at the table in which she intended to seat us? At this time the patrons at one of the tables were leaving and they were clearing the table for us to sit.We walked to our table talking amongst ourselves and the overall concensus of us, as patrons, was that the employees just didn't care about the patrons, not the bartender, not the hostess, not the manager. We sat down and they clearly didn't do all they were supposed to when you clear and reset the previous table - there was food, rice and shrimp all over the floor around us that we were trying to avoid stepping on and mashing into the floor as we sat down. Then they immediately seat two guests at another table right after us. We gave our drink orders and then our dinner orders - our waitress was pleasant enough but then when she came back to do refills- before we had gotten our dinners she asked us if we wanted drink refills of our adult beverages and we said, "yes" then she announces "last call". "Last call?, for what?" - she replies "the bar". You are closing the bar and we haven't even gotten our dinner yet? What if we want another drink with dinner or after ? So another member of my party tried to order two beers at once since it was "last call". She came back and said she couldn't give him two beers at once. Why on earth would they close the bar before the restaurant closes?? There were at least 4 other full Hibachi tables with patrons at it at this time and the restaurant doesn't close until 10 p, it isn't even 9:00 yet. The ONLY saving grace for this place and the reason that I am giving them 2 stars was that on this evening our Tepanaki Chef was hilarious!! He was quick witted, funny, very personable, and I wish I had gotten his name. He is what saved our evening. If I rated this just on the chef - he'd have...

Read moreThe prices listed on the menu on their Google profile is very outdated. The chicken teriyaki entree is subpar compared to other hibachi places and the price is almost 10.00 over whats advertised on their Google webpage. The Shrim tempura is mainly tempura vegetables. I ordered Tempura Shrimp and Tempura Vegetables and they were almost the same amount of veggies. A sauce came with the shrimp tempura and veggie tempura that wss so strong and pungent that I couldnt eat it. The tempura noodles were dry. I called and spoke with the manager Zaney about the price and she told me that the website is down and that "Google has nothing to do with them". I advised that this is incorrect and that the the owner/management sets up the Google page and how it comes up in a search. If you don't update it then it becomes misleading to those comparing restaurants to determine where to order from. She was not willing to admit that it was misleading and also told me that the sauce that comes with the Tempura Shrimp is not a Teriyaki sauce but a mixture that they make up. Overall, my experience was subpar and I will not order...
