Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Dover

If I could give a 0 star, I would. Firstly, I would like to say tht I’ve been fasting all day long and decided to come to Popeyes to break my fast. My order was taken and I was told to move up and wait for my food. After 15mins of waiting for my food. My food was brought out cold and stale. I went back to ask if they could give me a refund or give me hot food and the woman who was heavy set, curly hair, brown skin, and a Jamaican accent went back and forth with me to ask me what I wanted her to do about my order because the store was about to close. I explained to her that I wanted my food fresh and hot how it should’ve been to begin with. She says “well were about to close idk what you want me to do” an India guy who stood next to her with a blue shirt on tried diffusing the conversation between us both and I explained to him that I wanted a refund. He said no it’s fine I’ll remake your food, Just move up, and wait it’ll be right out. I gave them another chance being as though this man was very pleasant about helping me. Or atleast I thought... As I waited another 15mins, I hear loud footsteps creaking from the Popeyes store. I turn around to see the heavy set woman who argued me down about my food being cold bringing me my food out. (3rd red flag) after she gave me my food, of course I examined it. When she brought my food out the sandwich was so hard I couldn’t even bite through it. They put no sauce on my sandwich in which I asked for spicy sauce. The Fries were disgusting. Overall this entire meal/ interaction was a complete joke. I wouldn’t feed my dog this food. I would’ve been relieved if Ashton Kutcher his self would’ve came from out the bushes and told me he was pranking me. An absolute joke. & I will be furthering my complaint higher up if this situation isn’t resolved and I don’t get my money back. Don’t order from this location. Rude staff, cold food, no courtesy. I went in to get a big order, nothing that shouldn't have already been made. It's 8:05 pm when I go in and they close at 10:30 pm.I asked for a large order of spicey chicken tenders. The response I got was" we are out of them and won't make any more for the night". Chicken tenders, one of the main staples of the business and they aren't making any more for the night even though they still have almost 2-1/2 hours before closing? So I order something else besides spicey chicken and order shrimp. Now do you think I would have been offered dipping sauce for any of it, nope! Or how about an apology because there wasn't any more spicey chicken, nope. And talk about attitude, it was like the girl serving me was being told that she was going to pay for the meal. Well long story short, don't waste your time going to this place and expecting good food, the food you want or expecting good customer service. And if this note gets to anyone who cares or has ties to popeyes, I would tell you that the manager needs training and that one girl needs to find another job where she doesn't associate with people. I ordered and paid for 16-pieces of chicken. When I got home, I was only given 12 pieces. I called and spoke to the Manager about it and she was very nice and understanding. She told me to hold on to my receipt and she would put my name in the "book" to receive 12 pieces - not 4. She was giving me a 12 piece for the inconvenience of having been shorted 4 pieces. She said I could come any time to pick it up. 2 days later I went to get the 12 pieces, and the Manager (Indian male) told me he would only give me 4 pieces. I said no, and explained what the other Manager told me, and I told him to check the book. He left the counter and was hiding so I could not see him. He asked another employee to talk to me and then I was offered 6 pieces today and I could return the next day to get the other 6 pieces. I told the employee I wanted to talk to him, he refused to come out of hiding. I guess I was so persistent that he finally told the employee to give me my 12 pieces. This man does not belong in management; he is unprofessional and has no customer service skills. I will NEVER go to this...
