Still never went back after this incident. It's been over 3 years.
On just one foul occasion, a Sat night: Upon entering the lobby, I watched 1 person in the kitchen working alone while the other employees were MIA. A few trickled out of the back for drive thru orders but would pull out their phones and disappear again. Service was S L O W. You would have thought there were only a few people working, and on a Sat night with so few workers, one could understand the significant delay. Right? Wrong! Eventually, quite a few employees starting trickling out of the back (at least 5-7), a few looking and acting like they were in a questionable state of mind. Some started working, others were just taking up space, looking dazed and unsure if they were capable of more than staring at what they COULD help the others do. For as busy as it was, with as many people in the lobby, this unprofessionalism was on full display and incredibly bizarre. I made comments about the poor, lone-worker busting his rear while the others...were ?...and tried to get other employees to help him so as to not further disrespect the lone-worker, and the time/money of a paying customer. Well one, brazen, and foolish, employee insisted "Taco Bell could be dicks if they want to" to me and that he "didn't care about the customer or my time or my money", which resulted in a minor verbal escalation (um, excuse me kiddo?) and even more "magical" employees appearing from the back to watch the action. The one female employee just watched and smiled while this belligerent coworker thought it was a good idea to talk to a guest in that manner. It was weird! Worse still, none of the gawkers helped the lone-worker at all (who was making food AND stocking things he was running out of admist literally everything going on). That guy needs a raise! Then the manager insisted the lone-worker was working alone because "there's a reason for that"... not entirely sure why dude was being punished while everyone else was getting paid to not work?? Manager didn't even start helping him. It was nuts! Also not sure why trying to get other employees to help him, and expecting respectful, coherent, timely service from Taco Bell got me verbally attacked with highly inappropriate language by one of the random lazy texters? What he, and a few others, didn't seem to understand is that I have worked many food service and customer service jobs and I know none of this mentioned is even a tiny bit acceptable. I could SEE them on their phones (that silver partition only hides so much) and going into hiding, probably in the walk-in or out by the dumpsters. It was blatantly obvious on a few faces that had squinting, red, puffy eyes that they had been using cannabis products (I can't see that many males crying to match optical appearance). Regardless of what they were doing, they need to learn to not ALL go together and then subsequently disrespect guests in the lobby for noting and commenting on their behavior and it's affects. I am incredibly understanding of the plight of food service workers, but all of that nonsense I witnessed and the treatment I received was too bizarre to begin to wrap my head around.
I've gone to this Taco Bell for 30+ years (even when it was Taco de la Casa for a stint). I will not set foot back in there. I will tell everyone I know not to either. I am also going to make formal complaints. They need a corporate slapping. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever...
Read moreMy consistent addiction to Taco Bell is definitely being supplied by this location, and for good reason. What I like about alot of fast food chains is consistentcy. Meaning, I can grab some taco Bell in Florida and grab some in Dover and it be exactly the same quality and construction. But this Taco Bell exceeds my standards. I used to not like going to Taco Bell at the ones near me in Florida because I would be waiting in the drive thru for 10 minutes to get my food, but today I was amazed when I ordered at the speaker, drove up, paid, and as soon as she took back the card reader she handed me my food (Not only today, without exaggeration I literally am pleased with the speed of the drive thru every single time). I'm pretty sure after I gave them my order it took them 20 seconds. Everytime I come here I have a smile at the window and I can tell they have a positive work environment.
The people who have bad reviews on here might have just lived here longer than me, or something. Cause I don't see it, and I go there almost every other day. Not to mention most of the bad reviews have terrible spelling. Beware of the Karen's who got a slightly wrong order during rush hour and dropped a one star review 👀
Anyway. Whatever this Taco Bell team is doing, they're doing a great job, and they will continue to feel my...
Read moreFood was very disgusting don’t recommend eating here at all. One of y’all employees was very rude and didn’t give me NO seasoning on my nacho fries which didn’t come with any !!! Tasted like regular fries. Then yall didn’t give me the tacos i asked for. i asked for 3 cheesey double beef burrito which only came with a bunch of bean. Barely any rice. When it should have came with sour cream, nachos, rice, and beef. I don’t know what kind of tacos this is to yall but it was very very gross and so was your employee. ON TOP of that i am very allergic to bean and i told your employee that. He treated me with disrespect and i couldn’t get a refund for my disgusting tacos that i had because yall couldn’t make my taco right. This taco bell has no customer service. If im paying for something i expect for it to be made right or dont sell it at all. Learn how to treat your customers with respect or learn how to make the taco how it’s showed. No seasonings on my fries and on top of that i asked him politely if i could get extra seasoning and he told me no. i even said i could pay for it!!!! Nothing on my 3 BEEF TACOS. What yalls employee gave me is not what i asked for and i spent over $40 worth of tacos. I could have been sent to the hospital for eating something that i was...
