Holy moly! Hidden gem just outside Disney world and less then a mile from highway 4. We had a delicious meal; comfort food seasoned to perfection! The portions were hearty and the price was 1/2 of what you would pay in the parks or at a variety of other locations.
We tried the Cinnamon Roll French toast, the bread was cinnamon roll bread and cooked to the perfect French toast texture, crispy and soft. My family ordered a BLT with extra crispy bacon and they cooked it just right. Chocolate chip pancakes were the size of our heads, with chocolate sauce, whip cream and extra chips, the kids meal chicken tenders were delicious, they use chicken breast tenders, the breading wasn’t overly crunchy and had a great seasoning that catered to kids - particularly picky ones!
The French fries were different, they were thin with crispy outside with delicious seasoning. The seasoning looked like it may be spicy but it definitely wasn’t.
The coffee is lavazza, it was smooth and didn’t make you cringe, there was no bitterness! Yum!
To add to the experience the restaurant was clean, the condiments were full and the staff was friendly and helpful. They recommended favorite dishes and all of them had smiles on their faces. The restaurant had updated decor and it was welcoming.
Definitely worth the stop, save the money and have a...
Read moreOMG, what an awesome place. From the warmest welcome by the hostess, she was great, to the last second of leaving... goodbyes to cherish.
This location is close to Disney Spring, this place is so perfect. Their menu tells the story of the amazing food ahead. Our server, McKenzie (Kenzie-name tag), her a smile and willingness to the dot. Her suggestion and cute comments about our order, and visit, and her connection with the kids at the table were beyond expectations. Food: flavors and presentation are so well "orchestrated" omelet-meat lover to perfection. The sweet&salty pancakes out of this world. The Benny is so tasty. The menu has plenty of food choices for yourself (we can't up our minds) and everyone. Portions are adult-sized and so well presented, however not overwhelming to the view. Drinks were good options and flavors 😋 OMG Plates, mugs and Mason jars are personalized... showing caring and pride for their business. Environment: The atmosphere is genius, with perfect flow to relax, even if it was busy nothing felt off. I can the acoustic is well done. Picture frame decor the lobby and TVs with news, TV shows for kids and easy music. Definitely, it's the place to visit and make it a tradition. Love The Diner 100%. Thanks for the awesome 1st day of our Disney...
Read moreI am giving this restaurant a one star not because we didn’t enjoy our food it’s because we were over charged. We ordered everyday meals that included eggs and of course the avocado toast which we added two poached eggs too and enjoyed( a $4 upcharge). However this is where I found to be very disappointed with this restaurant. When our bill came it was full of additional charges( which I might add were never told of any extra charges upon ordering our breakfasts) that these additional charges would occur. We will not be returning. We understand price of food is high however we were not notified by our server nor was there a sign posted on the door before walking in or at the hostess desk. I have attached below our bill. Secondly, we were automatically charged 22% gratuity for a table of 6 however I didn’t realize 4 adults and two infants who can not talk or order a meal for were considered guests. So on top of the automatic hidden fees for eggs and a 22% gratuity when we weren’t an actual “6 guest table” is why I am very discouraged to eat here again. I have attached below a copy of my bill so others can beware before they choose to eat here that hidden fees will occur and children of any age infant-2 will be...
