Orlando Phillysteak — Restaurant in Florida

Went in and ordered a philly cheese steak and a gyro salad. The philly's looked big when we walked in.

Left to our hotel, opened up, all wrong food.

Came back 10 min later, and the couple who got our food walked in with us, we gave the food back and explained the situation.

They said "ok switch your food and leave" and we demanded new food as they LEGALLY can not do that, what if we touched the food or poisoned it or something? NOT COOL!

when we asked for new food, they got very upset and an attitude, even refunded the other couple and refused to make their food.

Didnt even refund the full amount, didnt give the taxes back.

When we got home food was still INCORRECT!

Greek salad had no feta cheese, no onions, and was HALF as big as the first time!

Then the cheese steak this time had so little meat on it, it was practically all bun!

They skimped us because they were mad they made a mistake.

Do not go here, the worse customer service we have ever received in our entire life and we had to waste 45 min driving there. Then back, then there again, and back for them getting mad they made a mistake and half order of what we ordered.

A business that runs like that should not be in business

I was headed out with my friends to drop them off at OIA from a local hotel, so we figured we'd stop in some place local so they could get a decent meal before the flight. We'd eaten nothing but chain restaurants all weekend so we figured we'd try somewhere local.

We arrived around 10:55. Maps and the door outside state they open at 11 AM. We waited on the seats out front, chatting, figuring at 11 AM (or around there) the place would open.

One employee arrived at 10:58. We figured he was one of the service staff or something. We waved to him and he said nothing, unlocked the door, and entered. We figured at some point they would come out and let us know they were open given we were clearly waiting for their 11 AM opening.

Nobody ever came. We waited until 11:05 to enter as barging in right at 11 might be rude. The staff inside informed us that they "just opened" and they refused to take any orders for another "30 to 40 minutes."

Er... okay. I'm pretty sure the point of a restaurant being open is that they are taking orders. What else am I supposed to do at an open restaurant but order food? If you don't take orders until 12 PM, that should be your opening time, not when employees arrive to start setting up to take orders.

One star for straight up false opening time and...

I should have trusted my gut and not gone here, but I recently tried the ice cream spot near here and fell in love so then I figured I should try the spot as well.

When I walked in the gentleman at the front Immediately acknowledged me and came to the counter, but he was not very friendly. I placed my order for two Philly cheesesteaks and asked what are the different toppings you can get and he basically said it’s onions and peppers, So that’s basically what I got. No cheese, no mushrooms, etc. etc…. Super basic.

The gentleman made the food fresh so I will give him that but when I’ve been into it, it was the most basic Bland cheesesteak I’ve ever had in my life lol. I should’ve known because this place is located in a Turkish neighborhood and they have Gyro As the first thing on the menu, so I should’ve known not to expect a good “PHILLY” Cheesesteak.

Anyway, on top of the cheesesteak having no taste at all and being the most basic thing I’ve had in many months, when I told the guy thank you as I was leaving, he didn’t respond so I again loudly said thank you and he still didn’t respond. Super rude, horrible customer service And the food is the most bland. It should be a crime to call this a Philly...
