Update: I received a call from one of the managers Rick. He saw my review and asked about our concerns. He understood everything and asked that we give Del Frisco a second chance. We visited 1/19 at 7:30 pm for dinner. There was a much lighter atmosphere, and the service was on point. The food made our dinner expectations beyond what was expected. We had calamari for our appetizer along with crab cake (highly recommend). The entrées still came longer than what I would like, but was worth the wait. We had the truffle twice baked potato (always a good choice) braised angus short rib, (phenomenal choice). Wife had the king crab with warm truffle butter (she enjoyed it). The kids had the baked chicken (good choice). We had more al carte sides to arrive including spinach (surprisingly great choice) corn (my 1 yr old loved which surprised me and it was good to me as well). Towards the end of our dinner experience, I asked for two cappuccinos to top the evening off. Our server then came around the corner with buttercake topped with vanilla ice cream. Listen if you know, then you know. This is how I wanted our Christmas dinner to flow. Given the circumstances surrounding that particular night, it is what it is. The manager David and his staff made our evening great and we are grateful for this opportunity. I want to say Thank you David and Rick for extending your welcome for my family to return and enjoy Del Frisco again.
Rarely have to leave a one star review, but this one is suitable for this establishment (Del Friscos). Valet drivers approached us and said the parking lot was full and that we could either park at the Pizza Hut parking lot or CVS. Drove next door to Pizza Hut and immediately saw tow trucks and signs saying Pizza Hut customers only violators will be towed at owner’s expense. Drove back to Del Frisco‘s and told the valet drivers that info and they replied “well it’s Christmas and they should be OK with you parking there”. I was able to wait to find a parking spot at Del Friscos due to being there early enough. Reservations were 5:15 PM arrived 20 minutes early to be checked in we checked in at roughly 5:00pm. Noticed all the couples same size party as mine arriving later than us and checking in later while still being able to get to their table before us. I was able to hear that they had the same time reservation as us because we stood next to the hostesses desk. No big deal about that, fast forward to getting to the table. The server greeted us, provided menus, and asked if we had any questions which we did not because we knew what we were going to order. I understand the restaurant is busy however, we were still seated and we were trying to make it as easy as possible with our party of five. It took 20-25 minutes for the server to bring us water and bread. We had to ask for bread as he was walking through the isle to another table and at that moment we were able to tell him everything for our order. It took 55 mins for two appetizers Wagyu meatballs (couldn’t taste the wagyu more of a cheese taste) and Calamari to arrive. The entrées came after 40 minutes had passed. Truffle baked potato (good choice) braised angus short rib, (good choice) french fries (soggy with grease in the bottom of the serving bowl/did not eat) for the table and Sea bass (too much salt) unable to eat. A Christmas evening dinner turned to one of the worst times ever experienced at Del Friscos. Manager was checking on other tables and he never came to our table. I was hoping to let him know our experience, but instead this review will have to work. Also, they had an irate customer who they had to deal with while we were there. Hopefully, that situation didn’t carry over into everything else...

We came back tonight for a guest relations meal since the last experience wasn't good at all. They definitely did a complete 180. I made sure to change before going in since tank tops and ball caps aren't allowed. We came from Universal so we were underdressed. But they were still kind to us. We had a nice view next to large windows leading outside. We had James and Louise as our servers and they were phenomenal. Louise is exactly like me when it comes to customer service. She talks and builds rapport. She did so well that my partner decided to give Del Frisco, and the Landry's Family another chance. We let the manager know we would like her next time we went and he said he'd add it to our notes so we wouldn't even have to ask. My partner ordered the 12 oz filet with a side of truffle twice baked potatoes. I had the filet medallions with shrimp and crab cake. I gave my partner the scallop. We ordered both of our steaks grilled blue. We were pleasantly surprised this time around. Everything was very delectable. Down to the dessert of the in-house strawberry cheesecake and Strawberry Sorbet I received. I'm very pleased with the end results of tonight between the food and service. My partner is as well and he enjoyed Louise's service so much that he wants to come back again. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to have a better experience.
Booked a reservation here two evenings prior. We called ahead to make sure they could do blue cooked steak and they said yes. We arrived at 7:45 and were seated in less than five minutes. We got our server and water. My partner ordered a Stella Artois and I had a look at the cocktail menu to see if I liked anything they had. Unfortunately, I didn't see anything on the menu I wanted, so I ordered a Mai Thai with Grenadine. I ended up having to get extra juice on the side because it's definitely strong. It took a long while after that to get any kind of food or beverage. I used the restroom at least three times while waiting. Other parties had whole meals who came in around the time we did or even after, and received their food. We ordered the meal for two which was $215. We both ordered salad as an appetizer. He had Caesar and I was given spring mix, but I couldn't have the avocado ranch dressing. So I didn't eat it. I had a filet mignon with a lobster tail. I ordered it rare. I also ordered cream corn as a side, but there was cheese on it, and I can't have dairy, so another item I couldn't eat. My partner had a rare Steak and Shrimp with Asparagus. It took about an hour to get the meal. By that point we just wanted to leave. So we got our dessert to go. This was my first time here as well as my partners and it left a sour taste in our mouths. My partner was very upset and had to speak with David the manager. He's not from Florida and isn't used to city life or the way that people are more fickle here than the country. David only took $50 off. But it may as well have been $20 since I still had to tip. I paid over $230 for a really bad time. My partners night and birthday were ruined and we won't be back here again. As a former employee of Landry's, this was a huge disappointment. For the price of the meal and the company it comes from, please have your service match your food. I know there are...
Read moreHad been wanting to come here for awhile finally took the time to drive here since there is only one in the area. Came for anniversary 💍 Drove around 2 RT. The good, hostess at front very nice and professional. Our server was nice but she lacked the inattention to detail that you expect at this type of restuarant. For example, we didnt choose an appetizer because it had 🌰onions. We had small talk about it.Made sure no onions were on the salad. For main course brings out a dish that has onions, and it was not listed on the menu that there were onions in potatoes🤔 Sit for awhile once food comes out and she returns. Explain to her that again, dont eat onions. Her response was kinda like of like a oh, sorry bout that😐. I ordered lamb. I've been ordering it alot lately. In fact, I had just had it a few weeks ago at Capital Grille, it was amazing there🔥🔥🔥. Figured it should be amazing here as well. I was wrong, it was just really blah. For both the type of restuarant and price point I was expected to be blown away, regrettably, I wasn't😢. Mac and cheese was ok. Another thing that bothered my husband immensely was the fact the table was not cleaned between courses. Small thing with big impact, at first I kinda felt like he was being hella petty. I had dropped something on the table cant recall what it was and he was essentially saying, Now you know good and well if that was dropped at Eddie Vs someone would have picked that up. Now (I hate to admit hes right) this dinner left us underwhelmed so he told me and my son to go to Eddie Vs the next day, it was like our hidden joke how he talked about that crumb so much the previous night. Sure enough, I had bread crumbs on the table and here comes our server with his scrapper, my son and I just chuckled. We have several family birthdays this month and were really able to make direct comparisons to service/food. Anyway back to Del Frisco's DE now the best thing I had on the menu was the ❤cheesecake❤. My son and I order it all over so I brought some home to him. We both admit it's some if the best cheesecake we have ever had. Both pure yet rich⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Would definitely order that to go. During this time I very lenient with service reviews, we understand places are so short staffed and its rough. Since it was a special occasion we decided to give it a shot. Overall, it's worth a try. Would I drive out of my way again, no. Perhaps appropriate for a corporate dinner. Nothing to terrible, but nothing that blew me out of this...
