Pathetic excuse for a bar that doesn't even know it's own identity. Two dumb girls trying to run a bar. New name suggestion. CBS might snag it up.

Variable pricing based on how often you visit. Great business practice, lol. Or not. Sounds good on paper, but creates entitlement and confusion. As does a landfall of money to just up and buy a bar.....

A "regular" threatened to punch me in the face after asking a legit question about seating and Jonna, an owner backed him regardless of actually hearing the conversation. I get sticking up for your regulars, trust me. But make sure you're right, or you look like a moron. This bar lives and die on Friday's business, (per Madaline) what happens if that ends and it's the sad story you deal with the rest of the week??? Who lives and who dies then?? Not Spurs. Take a physical threat to a patron seriously, or deal with the insurance companies. Then Duluth will see if you're big girls or not. Treat people the same and you don't have this issue....OR, run your bar like high school...

If i could rate my experience lower than 1 star I would. We came because a band we enjoyed was playing, then while casually hanging out at the bar the "owner" who stated his name was Nick Patronas came and grabbed our beers from right in front of us and dumped them outside for no reason whatsoever. I asked what that was about and after briefly arguing with me he "kicked me out" of the bar. A few minutes later i watched him do the same thing to a dozen or so other people. He was grabbing drinks when people weren't looking and pouring them out so they had to go buy new ones. What a scam and dirty way to make more money. This guy cares about his deep pockets, not the customer. I will NEVER go to this bar again, or ACES because they apparently are owned by the same people. If I could rate this place less than one star I would. I have been going to Spurs for a long time and it is enjoyable. But recently their new staffing is absolutely ridiculous. Apparently their new "regulation" for checking id's is making the person twirl around in front of the bouncer to make sure they are sexy enough to come into the bar. It was very rude and degrading to me and my friends who just wanted to have a fun night. The staffing needs to be reevaluated in terms of perversion and ethical standards. I also heard many negative words coming out of certain bouncer's mouths and it was highly inappropriate. I will not be going back or recommending this...
