Starbucks — Restaurant in Duluth

I went into this Starbucks this morning at 11 am. My friend and I each ordered a small Starbucks coffee. Then we looked around for a place to sit and discovered that they were not allowing people to sit in their facility. They said there's a sign as you come in to the building telling customers that they have no seating. They claim they were having problems with other customers so they had to close their seating area. The sign was small and not that visible. The two baristas acted totally unconcerned that we had no place to sit and basically shrugged it off. We had to walk a block plus to find a place to sit down and drink our coffee. This is not the way to treat customers if you expect them to come back and patronize your store. I will not be back to Starbucks in this area and in particular the one on 324 West Superior Street. The attitude of the employees there is poor. And you can tell them that. I will no longer buy gift cards for Starbucks. I will go to Caribou where they seem to care about their customers and treat them respectfully and in a...

I came in to use the bathroom. My boyfriend came in with me briefly. We were in there no longer than three minutes all together as we were in a hurry. The employee came over and knocked and told us only one person allowed in the bathroom at a time. I was in the middle of using the toilet and she did not make me aware of that in the beginning. I made my boyfriend stay until I was finished as I did not want the door to be opened for everyone to see while I was on the toilet. The employee came back not a minute later and knocked repeatedly until I was finished. Either make me aware of the one person policy from the get go or leave me alone while I’m using the bathroom. I can't say anything about there food as I only get coffee when I go to a Starbucks. However there customer service was fantastic, every worker there had a smile on there face and very polite. I'm not much on sitting and having my coffee there but if I wasn't in a rush I could see myself sitting down and enjoying my coffee treat in house. All and all it was a good and some might even say fun experience, my only knock was the online orders and what I mean is having to wait for your order with all the other people while online order people come through in the same spot made it a...
