The Duluth Depot is an awesome and historic place to visit for locals and tourists. The summer months are great to visit especially when they have Thomas the Train during the month of August every year, and really cool during the Christmas holiday when they have the Christmas train leaving Fitgers and arriving at the Depot! Plus, the added bonus, the eerie bit awesome spirits that are in the Depot at night I believe as seen on "Ghost Hunters" on TV.

Very impressed! First off, the ticket agent asked if I might be a veteran, I told him I was. He informed me that happily the policy had been updated and families up to 5 members can visit for no charge when with a veteran. Thank you for that honor! The museum was great! Two teenage girls spent over 2 hours exploring on their own! It rained 5" the day we were there, and we never cared. A great place!

Had such an amazing time visiting the Duluth Depot! So much history in such a historic location. You're able to go walking through some of the cars and see how small those areas actually were! The gift shop was also fun and wasn't just full of over priced nonsense. My husband and I will definitely be returning during the summer for one of their Train Ride Shows!!

The Depot is NOT what it used to be! With the Art Institute gone, the Children’s Museum gone, the art exhibits gone, The Duluth Playhouse gone. The stage in the great hall is walled off. All the character, uniqueness, art, and the community vibe is gone. Also the half moon wooden desk at the entryway is gone. It was a unique community building and now it’s been taken over by the county and everything has become somewhat uniform and dull. Hopefully they can bring back the artsy artistic creative colorful community vibe that used to exist.

Good public bathrooms, very clean. There is a women and men’s bathroom on the main floor and then half the woman’s has been cordoned off for a gender neutral bathroom space.

Train museum is still very cool. To access the train cars themselves you have to go up 2-3 steep steps or a small flight of wooden stairs. Just something to keep in mind if you have...

We went to the Depot to ride the 'Pizza Train' and the experience was disappointing. One of our folks is handicapped. The web sit indicates handicapped accessible but they had no available equipment. Conductor said we needed to call ahead. No warning of that on the web site nor signage on site. The train left about 30 minutes late. The bulk of the ride is through the woods and the lakeside woods should be cleared. Music was supposed to be provided but needed to be sent through the speakers on the cars. No music heard in my car. Not a good experience to show off Duluth...

I enjoy when people complain about the price to enter a Museum. AAA Discount 10% off & for larger groups. It’s expensive to pay the staff & cleaning crew to keep the building open

Then the complainers: will have an I phone, Travel, eat out; all is expensive. It’s 2018.

As fair as the Handicapped entrance to the Train. Then the Website needs an update. Calling ahead to make sure is good Initiative.

Called ahead to make sure does make sense.

The Tour Trains their in Duluth, were build before Amtrak, & therefore; special equipment must be available. & again it helps...
