Update: Thank you to the business for reaching out and responding to my review. Again, my main concern was the lack of customer service that morning and your response lets me know that you are open and receptive to feedback which I am appreciative of. As such, and in all fairness, I am updating my rating and look forward to giving Yabba's Bagels another try soon.

Friday, 9/26/25, 7:10 a.m. I was excited to try Yabba's Bagels after coming across a Tik Tok video of their NY bodega inspired breakfast sandwiches, but unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. Upon arrival at 7:10 a.m., they are just beginning to set up. No smiles, no greetings, just glances as they (2 gentlemen and a young woman) continued with what they were doing (filling up wster dispenser, putting out bagels, etc.). I greeted with "Good morning" and only then did the young woman reply. She asked me for my order, which I gave her, only for her to then tell me they are only able to do bagels and cream cheese for now, no breakfast sandwich bagels. I guess the stove/oven/flat top was not ready. I presume a business would be ready to serve custimers at their published opening time, but not today at Yabba's Bagels. I totally understand it's early, but the customer service was sorely lacking this morning and this was not a friendly or welcoming 1st visit. If I do return, hopefully it's a better...

Their customer service sucks- I waited over 30 min for a tuna melt that I never received. 15 min in I was told that they were waiting on fresh bagels and my order would be up soon. Meanwhile, I saw them making more orders with the fresh bagels and not mine. I tried being patient because they were busy and I waited longer. When I asked again, I was told that they accidentally removed my order and gave it to another customer. The customer they were referring to got their order before I even got to the counter to order so our tickets wouldn’t overlap-especially given I ordered one item and that customer ordered 4. It did not make any sense. Their solution was to apologize, but didn’t offer to make my order immediately or anything knowing I had been waiting so long. I had to ask for a refund.

EDIT TO OWNERS RESPONSE: nothing was offered at all… your wife provided a refund immediately. You both gave me a sorry excuse vs taking full responsibility and offering anything to right the wrong other than apologize. I don’t appreciate you pretending like you did. You were so preoccupied you barely had time to...

I was excited to try Yaba's Bagels after seeing it pop up in my social media feed. For context, my usual spot is Brooklyn Bagels in Alpharetta, but their poor customer service and cleanliness had us looking for another bagel spot. At Yaba's, I ordered the pastrami melt on jalapeño cheddar. For $12 before taxes, I was expecting a stacked bagel; but as you can see from my posted image, the portion was serially lacking. Barely any pastrami and the bagel itself was very bready. What's more, the pastrami was dry, cheddar was burnt and it was incredibly oily from the cheese. Did not enjoy it at all.

In addition to the food, the place itself was very cramped. There was no clear space to wait in line which prohibited a natural flow to get napkins, and the plastic knife (very flimsy) was completely useless to cut anything, esp. bagels.

I wouldn't recommend. Brooklyn Bagels, while dirty and rude, at least has...

I was influenced and was ready for the best bagels in atlanta and they were …. Just ok? Typical bagel shop environment, with a few places to sit, counter service from some really nice folks, barebones set up otherwise. The Levantine bagel maybe needed more zaatar. I just didn’t get a lot of that zaatar punch. And the bagel itself was tasty, but was lacking that chew that I love with bagels. Bagel was a little on the cakey side. My fiance got the hotlanta bagel and it was awesome. The coffee was solidly just ok. It wasn’t bad, but it definitely didn’t live up to the hype.

Yabba‘s catered the Rosh Hoshana event I attended and the food was fantastic!!! Specifically jalapeño cheese bagels with their own custom cream cheese with diced vegetables in it . They had all the classic fixings you would need capers on your tomato. Everything was cut, thin and crispy to make the bagel phenomenal. Also, their hummus and potato salad were top-notch. Had a tiny little space for one of their black-and-white cookies. I’m stuffed with the most delicious food. I’m definitely gonna visit them at their Dunwoody location.
