Taco Boy Downtown — Restaurant in Durango

Terrible. Kid at the register was cool but his boss gave him no training. I had to spend several minutes explaining the items I wanted. He finally had to call the boss and ask how to ring up ceviche since he didn't know what it was. After I paid, the cook finally spoke up and said they didn't actually have ceviche after all despite it being on the menu. The green chile pork burrito was so salty I couldn't eat it. It's now too late to take it back before they close but I will stop by tomorrow...

Customer service was great which is why I gave them 2 starts instead of one. I had the 4 mini tacos. All tacos tasted like soap or chemicals. Chicken tasted burnt and terrible. Pork was dry. Carne asada was really good. Even the drink tasted off from the tea dispenser. Wont...

Update 8/9/25: went back and ordered Chicken Asada burrito takeout. Got home to a tortilla with lettuce and dry cubed grilled chicken. Phone number goes to an unsetup number. With this level of unprofessionalism, it looks like we'll wait to see what replaces them in this...
