This particular smoothie king is well known to have a slow moving line, so be prepared for an incredibly long wait time (even if there are only 2 people ahead of you). My most recent experience visiting this establishment, was my LAST. I ordered a normal smoothie from the menu and prepared for my long wait. Finally after receiving my smoothie and walked back to my vehicle, I realized my smoothie had chunks in it. Since I'm so used to them not blending the ice down, I assumed this was just ice and kept it moving. This smoothie had a rather strange after taste. When I approached a stop light, I opened the lid, and tried to fish out one of these chunks. To my surprise I found blended pieces of plastic inside of my smoothie. I immediately placed a call to the Camp Creek Smoothie King where I purchased it. The girl who spoke with me admitted the blender broke. When I went back up to the restaurant to speak to the manager and actually show her the blended plastic pieces, she said "We don't have anything in the store that looks like that. You didn't get that from here"... okay so how did they magically appear in my smoothie?? They took my name and number and told me the owner would be in contact with me. That was a joke. I waited almost a week for him to call me. This situation happened over 6 weeks ago, and I haven't heard anything yet! This is a prime example of why their customer service is poor. I will not be back to this particular Smoothie King. Especially if they think it's okay to slip random unknown objects into customers drinks, then deny it. What's done in the dark will always come to light, and...
Read moreLiterally the worst experience ever. I went to sit my smoothie down in my cup holder and the top wasnt on all the way it spilled everywhere. I go back into the resturant and go to the counter. Two employees are helping 1 person down at the end so I’m just standing there waiting waiting waiting while a cold smoothie is running down my hands. So I grab another cup myself. I tried to wait but I wasn’t about to waste another drop of my exspensive smoothie. Here’s where it gets worse. As I’m at the station cleaning up I over hear the older Carribean lady that works there talking crap. So I turn around and simply let her know that the top wasnt on all the way and my drink got all over my car. The Carribean lady rudely says “Next time you have to tell us you can’t just grab a cup”. So I say “next time make sure you put the top on all the way”. She argued that she top was on all the way. But how would she know the younger girl made the drink not her. Not that I was expecting an apology. But how hard is it to show compassion and simply say “oh no ma’am I’m sorry that happened.” Did you need help”? I got none of that. Instead I got a combative, nasty, rude, insensitive Carribean Lady. Extremely disappointed and will NOT be...
