Gelato here is always so good and the selection of flavors are amazing. I've been here numerous times, never had an issue except for yesterday. My coworker and I do not work in the mall. We drive 10 minutes just to go to this location. 2 weeks ago we bought a bunch of gelatos and the worker gave us To-Go containers to bring back to our office.
Yesterday, the worker Juliana was either having a bad day or just didn't want to communicate in a professional matter. As soon as we walked into the store to look at the flavors, she immediate said "register first". Didn't at least greet us or even a simple smile. After we order and paid, which was a lot of items, we asked for a to go container. Rather than Juliana saying "oh no, I am sorry, we cannot provide a container" or even a "we have special pricing for a To , she said with an aggressive tone " we can't do that". We mentioned that we were just here recently and we were helped. She said "no, you have it wrong". I noticed on the menu they had "To Go" containers for a fee if bought with gelato. I even offered to pay for that and explained why we were confused. She then raised her voice and said "You are picking a fight". As a consumer and has worked in a customer based field, you never ever accuse a customer of "picking a fight" when they are just asking for clarification. As I was trying to be professional and explain I understand it is company policy and is not her fault, she kept dismissing me. Regardless if a To - Go container is not allowed, everyone on their team should be on the same page. Juliana as the front person, needs to have a welcoming atmosphere. There was another lady with 2 kids trying to ask her a question about the flavors, but she kept giving them an attitude too that the...
Read moreI recently paid a visit to Lucciano Store, excited to savor their highly recommended flavor. Regrettably, my experience was marred by the exceedingly poor customer service I received from one of their team members, Kristen.
Upon entering the store, Kristen's cold and unwelcoming demeanor was immediately noticeable. She displayed no interest in assisting or engaging with customers, which made the atmosphere quite uncomfortable. While browsing the available flavors, I had some questions about ingredients and possible allergens. Kristen's response to my inquiries was not only dismissive but also uninformative.
The ordering process was no better. Kristen remained unenthusiastic, rushed, and barely communicative. Her unwillingness to engage with customers left me feeling more like a nuisance than a valued patron.
Although the gelato itself was indeed tasty, Kristen's attitude completely overshadowed the quality of the product. The overall experience was so off-putting that it negated any enjoyment I could have derived from the gelato.
In light of this experience, I can only give Lucciano Gelato Store a one-star review. I sincerely hope that the store's management addresses this issue with their team members. An outstanding product cannot compensate for subpar customer service, and a friendly, well-trained staff is essential for elevating a simple gelato outing into a truly...
Read moreI recently visited Lucciano's and was initially impressed by the cozy ambiance and modern decor. However, the gelato itself was a major disappointment. The flavors I tried had a harsh, chemical taste that was overwhelming and unpleasant. It was like they'd prioritized artificial additives over natural ingredients.
The sorbets were equally disappointing, lacking any resemblance to natural fruit flavors. It was like they'd taken a bunch of artificial flavorings and mixed them together without any regard for the actual taste.
What really gets me is the expensive price tag attached to these subpar products. It's like they're trying to pass off low-quality gelato as premium just because of the fancy decor. I wonder if the owners or staff ever taste their products before selling them to customers, or if they're just banking on the ambiance to make up for the lackluster gelato.
Unless they revamp their recipe and focus on using natural ingredients, I wouldn't recommend this gelato store to anyone. There are far better options out there that offer quality gelato at...
