We were a party of three. There were maybe 3 tables with customers, including us. We waited 20 minutes before the waitress bothered to show up. She took long getting our drinks, we had to ask for the straws, and when we finally got our food, one of us got the wrong thing. He asked for chicken fried chicken, which is on the menu. He got chicken fried steak. When he brought it to the waitress attention, she told him they didn't have chicken fried chicken. I don't understand why she didn't tell him when he ordered it, but instead, brought him something he didn't order at all without consulting him, and with no apology.
The chicken fried steak was awful. It was tough, dry, and it tasted like rancid grease. The waitress didn't even offer to get him something else....her lack of interest or embarrassment were appalling.
I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It was alright. I ate it because I was hungry. I wasn't expecting gourmet Italian. I got soggy noodles with a couple tablespoons of bland tomato sauce. The microwaved meatballs were tasty, I guess.
We weren't offered refills, desert, or apologies - even after we told the cashier that we were not pleased. She asked how everything was, and one member of our party answered her frankly, saying "It wasn't good," and she didn't bother to ask why.
To add insult to injury, we paid over $30 for bad meals and worse service.

When he was done at the register, I signaled about our drinks and he murmured to the likes of "Oh that's right " as his 3 other waiters were standing there just talking and giggling. Keep in mind that the restaurant was waiting on 4 to 5 tables at most at the time. He brings the drinks with one of the waiters (Elisa) who is supposed to be waiting on us in the first place. She says to us "I'm actually your waitress". She was one of the waiters just standing there talking to the other waiters as the manager was busy at the register. We ask her for an order of pancakes before we order our food. She says ok and goes off to place the order. She comes back a little later and takes our order. About 10 minutes pass and I called her over and confirmed with her about getting our pancakes before our order. She says yes, I'm just waiting on them. Another 10 minutes pass and she brings all of the order with the pancakes. I exclaimed to her that's why I told her twice that we wanted the pancakes before...She said "its because the cooks had just switched out." The waiters obviously don't feel empowered to tell the cooks what they want. And secondly, the manager is way too nice and friendly with his staff. He's doesn't have them help each other out when they see the other person is busy. It's fine that the staff is having a good time at work. Read moreFirst, I wanna start by saying I hate Dennys. But we decided to give it a try today and Adrian B was our server. He was above and beyond and just absolutely amazing. we had the most amazing experience with him who is very detail oriented when taking our order when I asked for a tea, he made sure that I knew that it was unsweet, and the only sweet one they had was raspberry, he handed my daughter, the mac & cheese, and told her that he was gonna put it in front of her because it was hot It’s all in those little details that makes the experience perfect. I highly recommend him as a waiter and his customer service is exactly what escalated our experience. He definitely deserves a raise because it’s people like him Us wanna come back. I didn’t take a picture of my food which had a couple special changes and even though the changes it came out exactly as I ordered it. I could show you my plate. It’s completely empty every single bite and I probably would’ve licked the plate if I wouldn’t be embarrassed. He had to leave early for his niece’s ceremony of some kind, but I made sure I let him know how amazing the service was and I hope he reads this to know that he made our experience just that much more awesome.
