Update: November 2021 - For the last year, this place has only had drive-thru open, which is fine with the pandemic going on. But maybe 6+ months ago, they now close their drive-thru at 8pm. You used to be able to stop at 10pm or later I think some nights, and get a good take home meal. Now they have a sign up that says they are closing early due to staffing. Initially when the pandemic started and places like this weren't quite sure what to do, it was understandable to have some goofy hours. But we're 2 years into this public health crisis and Arby's STILL cannot get a proper number of people hired so they could at least be open later in the evening. Other fast food places are the same way; closing early due to staffing. I don't understand: is your staff sick or have they all quit and you can't find high school kids that want to work? If you see that you're having staffing issues, hire some people and pay them well./end update. Here's the other thing: they have come out with some really good new sandwiches to put on the menu for a time to see how they sold. One example was the Pork Belly Sandwich which was great but it was only around a couple months and then gone. The newest one is the Rib Sandwich made with real rib meat, not the pasteurized processed food that Macs uses. Those sandwiches looked delicious and I would have loved to try it, but I stopped the other day and tried to order one: it was only a temporary trial and it was only for October. They don't tell you that in the...
Read moreGreat little market filled with high quality food--not a good place for those with limited self-control AKA me.
For anyone who has visited San Francisco, this market is quite reminiscent of the Ferry Building albeit smaller, but it's still enjoyable and has a great variety of food. Even walking through the market alone is such a treat. Everything is lively and colorful, and it's both painful and dazzling to drool over all the items for sale. I ended up getting a small Jamon Iberico sandwich and a freshly squeezed fruit juice (from two separate stands) but was also very tempted by a stand called Moz Love that featured tapas on toast centered around cheese (particularly attractive to me was an entire row that incorporated burrata).
Cons are that these items are probably not as much bang for your buck as neighboring restaurants' menus del dia (but as a tourist, I thought prices were very fair compared to what I'm used to back home) and that finding seating can be a challenge, but I think it's worth stopping by at least once for...
Read moreCame for lunch today 6/8/24 ordered 2 for 6 classic roast beef’s, was asked if I had the coupon, I told the order taker yes. Pull around to the window get charged $7.49 so I ask why they didn’t honor my coupon or even ask for it and then charge me full price I was told to hold on and by the time the manager came to the window I decided to just ask for sauce and leave it’s $1 whatever. I get home open my sandwiches the beef is thick not wafer thin like it’s supposed to be and advertised to be and within my sandwich are little disgusting hard crunchy bits of old beef that was dried up from the heat lamp clumped into the middle of my sandwich. I’ll leave pictures. Why would anyone put that in someone’s sandwich? This location clearly needs to educate their cooks on proper beef slicing and sandwich making, and need to better train the order takers to honor coupons and ensure they’re not over charging customers. Thoroughly dissatisfied with my visit and feel disgusted that I was just charged $7.50 for essentially...
