Was a kitchen manager there, walked out due to many issues. First, the GM/ PA/ and the DM know about everything but turn their heads. Second, management can do anything they want without consequences (GM and whoever is affiliated with her). If inspection came through un announced, they would fail everything, from food safety to harassment. Ppl there are scared due to there termination and not the individual who is doing the wrong. Ppl side with the GM and other individuals involved. Higher management does not support its employees, the GM, AP, and other management levels only support and resolve issues with in their circle. Nothing is a secret, you tell the GM something in confidence, the next day everyone knows about it. The DM/ or field manager listens to lies and doesn't use their better judgment on situations. As the GM and AP cover their mistakes up, and blame other employees for their mess ups. If corporate saw what is going on at this location, they would terminate all managers there. Safety is not priority there, neither is proper food handling. Food Temps are never done, except by individuals that follow procedures properly. If they are done, they are just numbers on the sheet. Temps are rarely taken, and dishes are never properly cleaned. These things have been brought to the light and have been talked about. To no avail it was just in one ear and out the other with management. If you go against higher management you become a target, then your work experience becomes uncomfortable and not fun anymore. I became a vegetarian after working there for a few weeks, I bit into raw chicken that was supposedly cooked properly. Customers have had this issue in the past and haven't returned. Read moreTo Chipotle 6/16/2023 I tried filling out a form on the feedback app on your site but it wouldn’t let me submit it. Yes I had everything fill out correctly. Anyway, I walked in the restaurant as their only customer, stood there at the counter for several minutes with no one acting like they’d seen me. There were 4-5 employees that I saw. No one was hurrying to do anything, especially waiting on a customer. While I was waiting I had time to look at the MESS all around the food bar. Food all over outside of the containers on the counter. Many of the containers were almost or completely empty. They needed to be dumped or refreshed. At one point I asked if someone could wait on me. They called someone’s name twice and when they didn’t come out another girl came over. I mentioned to her that someone needs to clean up the mess because it’s very unappetizing for customers to see, when you’re not even busy. I was leaving and thought to myself that I hoped we wouldn’t get food poisoning from the meat that looked like it’d been sitting there for who knows how long. It wasn’t very warm either. I don’t feel it’s totally the young employees’ fault, it’s the fault of the lack of a manager or a responsible manager. I just have to say I’ve never been so disgusted before. Read moreI’m not really one to make these kind of reviews I just simply don’t go back for a while ! However I want to give some feedback because since I work close by I really want this location to succeed. I will start by saying my portions haven’t been consistent at all the 3 times I’ve been so far. I’m unsure if there’s a set portion amount but I’m just going to go out on a limb and say there is. As a prior manager at a restaurant CONSISTANCY will save you a lot of headache from customers ! Now the next experience is not mine but one that I witnessed. I was behind a gentleman that was trying to use a gift card. There was something going on with it (come to find out she was not trained on how to redeem a gift card) which is fine obviously the employees are still learning the ropes HOWEVER, it was the way she acted in the situation. Rolled her eyes, laughing with her coworker about it, and CUSSING just in my opinion being very rude to the customer they were helping. I was taken a back to say the least.
