Went through drive thru, waited about 10 minutes for order and when I received order it was incorrect. I went inside to get the correct order. No one was at counter, so finally a woman tells them to help me (she was a corporate trainer). Finally let someone know order it wrong and was told I had to wait for chicken which would be 12 minutes. That’s fine, no big deal I mean fresh chicken yay. So chicken comes up and they don’t remake my order and proceeded to run out again. I am told it will be another 12-15 minutes for chicken. Nope, I’m done I then ask for a refund. Kid at register says I don’t know how to do that I will find someone. Comes back up a few minutes later and says GM left for day and the mgr on duty Todd doesn’t know how to do refunds. So no one including the corporate trainer can do a refund or show someone how… I find that strange. Finally got my food only now it has been almost 45 minutes waiting for a 3 piece chicken meal with extra biscuits. Get order home… biscuits are burned and don’t taste good. Chicken is over fried and didn’t taste good. Mash potatoes barely have gravy on them but weren’t horrible so was able to eat that. The whole experience was just so bad! Read moreI'm shocked!! They advertise "Wings" so my niece gets excited about "wings" when we go to order, they were out of: Wings, Fries, Fountain Dr. Pepper, Ranch!!! I understand that it was a holiday but how do you not have the items that you're "pushing?" So we place our order, for the 3 piece Chicken Meal we request Regular (not spicy) "Dark Meat Only" When our drinks were shoved out the window no clues were given as to which soda was which!! So I figure it out, we get our food and drive home. Can someone PLEASE tell me how a Chicken "Wing" (which is NOT Dark Meat!!!) ends up in the box? First, I was told you were out of wings!! Second, one of the first things you should learn, when employed at a restaurant that is all about Chicken is what parts of the chicken is "White meat" and "Dark meat"!! Third, Why offer "Regular" or "Spicy" if you're going to put whatever you want in the meal? Lastly, I DO NOT APPRECIATE the cashier's attitude when she recognized my niece!! If you're going to work with the public you're going to see many different people that you may not like but you are "at work" getting paid to do a job NOT to throw your attitude at PAYING...
Read moreThey seem to be getting things together. I know new restaurants are hard to get started, especially when it is as popular as this place is. Average wait time is around 20 minutes now.
The food is still hit or miss, as is the service, but I really think they're trying. Sometimes the chicken is thick and juicy and abundant and sometimes it is dry, hard, and scraggly. Sometimes you get a fat pile of fries and sometimes your fry bag is only half filled, or the red beans and rice fills only half the container. Sometimes the biscuit is fluffy and buttery, other times hard and dry. They are consistent in that they have never once given me a utensil with my beans and rice without being asked first, though. One actual complaint I do have is someone in the drive-through does not wear a mask but wears one of the plastic face shields. This is fine (I understand some people are genuinely unable to wear masks) but they wear it up on top of their head so it doesn't cover their face. When they do have it down, it doesn't matter, because the drive-through people are below them, so there is no actual barrier between their germs and us...
