I was excited to come into this store, I love the little small business vibe. I picked up this really cute pin that my best friend would have loved, but the worker short woman with brown hair working today did nothing but look me up and down the whole time. As I was going upstairs she asked me, ONLY me if she could hold onto the pin while I went upstairs. She 100% was profiling me as someone who was going to steal. As I was upstairs her eyes didn’t leave what I was doing. I understand you have to be careful and people do steal, but this left such a bitter taste in my mouth…I walked out without the pin. Not because I didn’t want it but because she was so unprofessional and rude. I let her know that I knew what she did and that next time she shouldn’t take something from someone just because she feels like they’re going to steal it. Should really have better people in your company who treat everyone how they would like to be treated. Interesting place with a small ice cream and drinks bar in the back. The merchandise is geared towards the younger set with monster, sci-fi and horror themes. Explore the upper floors of this historic building and location while shopping for what really gives this place its name - Unusual. My favorite reason for repeat visits, though, is the ice cream in back. This is one of the only places that serves non-dairy flavors such as chocolate, salted caramel and coconut.
