McDonald's — Restaurant in Ellisville

This is my second review since the last one I posted 7 years ago.

This franchise seems to be under new ownership. My first visit resulted in several mistakes. Mostly the counter person not knowing how to use the tool or simply understanding me.

They fixed the order but was met with arrogance and a smug attitude.

Today I made a to-go order. The app is a complete time sink (won't go into that here), but my gripe is that there is no longer any numbers for curbside pickup. Decided to go in so to make sure my order didn't end up in someone else's car.

Got my order, picked it up. Most of it was precise with the exception of my sandwich. Ordered a double quarter pounder deluxe with cheese. Received a double quarter pounder with cheese (so no lettuce or tomato). No big deal. They kept the $0.20 difference. However, it did earn them this review. Just too many misses not to say anything about it.

I'll run one of these franchises one day and plan to do it such a way, these small nuances and paper cuts aren't the reason my customers choose a different restaurant.

Idk man I have come here 3 times in the past week and everything has been inedible. My first meal was their new chicken strips, see if McDons is cooking here with the new item. Tasted like 5/10 chicken, but with a chewy spongey texture which dropped it to a 3/10. Wanted to try their new sauce that’s supposed to go with the chicken. Dogwater. That whole meal was irredeemable.

Then my next meal was their steak and egg bagel sandwich, I got mine with no onions, and I wasn’t expecting their grayish greenish sauce, and not only boy did I get it, but it looked like someone splooged all up in my sandwich and it was all piled up to one side too. So I didn’t even want to try that one at that point.

And then my final meal was their cheddar sausage McGriddle. I was actually able to eat half of this but I didn’t feel good about myself after. Sometimes McDons slaps, but my god this specific one has been making me feel like I’m eating something that’s been recycled, and not in a good way. The people are always nice and the place is generally clean, but that doesn’t offset the 1-star fact that this location fails to do really the only thing it’s supposed to be doing, which is...

I ordered 2 cheese burgers with a four piece nugget and a Dr. Pepper, instead of getting 2 burgers I got a chicken sandwich. So I walked back in to get the 2 burgers I ordered with the untouched chicken sandwich and the receipt. The guy at the counter kept on telling me that's what I ordered because it was on the receipt. I kept telling him I didn't order that and you must have misunderstood. He kept telling me that is indeed what I ordered. I asked what does he need from me for me to get the two cheeseburgers. He refused to answer me or give me the two cheese burgers I asked for. I left the store fuming with rage. My child ended up eating it any way because I payed for it and she said the chicken sandwich was disgusting. I forgot to mention as I walked into the dining area it was a construction zone there was dust every where and a wet saw. I'm concerned they even let me walk in there. Also the construction workers where more nice than the people working there. I do not recommend this McDonalds. It is disgusting and the service...
