Don’t come for any reason !!!!!!
We called about 4 days before our celebrate to make sure everything will run smoothly. We were a party of 12 people so we were fully aware of the wait time for being a big party , that was to be expected. When we checked in with the very unprofessional and rude Host, Christina , we were told we were a 45 minutes wait. We accepted and went to wait in our vehicle due to it being very cold weather outside . I called the restaurant almost a hour later and Christina then tells me she has tables ready for us . She then lets us know we will have two different booth. I let her know that was not going to work due to us wanting to have dinner and celebrating a birthday TOGETHER, talk to everyone. We asked Christina of how much longer will it be into we can get a full table . She responds with a chuckle “well I don’t know that , people are eating” . Obviously people are eating, she was just being smart with us. We proceed to the location and explained to the very rude worker that we been waiting so long because we expected to eat dinner TOGETHER.
Christina tries to make up a story and continues to tell me that she indeed told the person who put our name on the waitlist that it was going to be 2 booths. She doesn’t even remember who she talked with because she forgot it was I who was standing in front of her when she let us know it was a 45 min wait. She continues to lie and say that she actually did not give us a time and we were lying . She then states that it was our fault because we did not let her know we wanted to eat together…… it’s common sense! She then laughs at my face when I told her that is was common sense . If I wanted different tables then I would have said that from the beginning. We ended up being sat in two different booths and were not able to even enjoy a conversation with the other half of your group with out breaking our necks to look behind us.
Our server Skyler was AMAZING , very nice and kind.
At the end of our dinner we tried to take some group pictures and we couldn’t because we were in two different booths. Christina comes by and ask if we would like for her to take the pictures. A family member hands over a phone and because I was not in the mood to look at her after what she done, She decided to make another smart comment and say “it’s fine , if people hate me then they don’t have to look at me” … I was so in shock at that point . I couldn’t not believe they have someone who is suppose to be the “face” of the restaurant. She is the first person you see when you walk in and also the last person when you leave. She should be someone that wants to make people come back . Not disrespect people .
At the end of the day , If she would have walked into a restaurant with her family ready to have a great birthday dinner TOGETHER and they made her wait 1 hour just to get told, AFTER WAITING, that her family would be split , she would be highly upset too.
Her attitude and disrespect is out of line and very...
Read moreBig shout out to California Pizza Kitchen. Every Veteran’s Day they offer a free meal for Veterans and it is absolutely free, not BOGO, or any purchase necessary. Starting last year it is dine in only, but hey.
This was my first time at the Town Square location. It was very busy being a Saturday afternoon. I went in and gave my name to the hostess. I was told it would be about 45 minutes to an hour wait. I sat outside waiting and since it’s November and Las Vegas the weather was pretty nice. As the names were called, people would go in to their table or many people weren’t around when their names were called. After about 20 minutes, the hostess called for Dave. No one else answered, so I said hey, that must be me. She set me down at a booth and asked where the rest of my party was. I told her it was only me, so I’m probably the wrong David I can wait outside. She went and checked and then gave me the booth to myself.
They had the Veterans Day menu already on the table. My waitress came by to take my order. I ordered a Passion Fruit Mango Iced Tea and The Original BBQ Chicken Pizza, my standard CPK order. I received my drink along with a complementary side of bread and oil. At the CPK’s I go to on the Strip I never get bread oil.
I love the passionfruit, mango iced tea and the BBQ chicken pizza was excellent as always. I know I should try something else but the barbecue chicken pizza is what they’re known for and it is good maybe next time I’ll try something else.
Now I must say what made this visit stand out from any other time I’ve been to a CPK is the friendliness of the staff. It started with the hostess, and then on to the waitress, and the food runner who brought my drink, and bread to the manager, who came by and asked how he was doing, and to everyone I came in contact with, and one of the waiters passing by even thanked me for my service. I mean it was a very busy Saturday afternoon but all employees had a very good attitude and were very very friendly. It wasn’t just one or two people. It was everyone I came in contact with.
It wasn’t just that I got a free meal that give them 5 stars, but the awesome staff. Because of this will be visiting this location from now on.
The only recommendation I would make to this CPK is to have a pager or texting system to let people know when their table is ready. In the summertime, it would be too hot to sit outside and wait...
Read moreOkay I cannot stress enough what a wonderful experience I had here. I've been to the one by downtown summerlin and the one at the fashion show. Yes the atmosphere great (the seating space is very well done) the food was really good, so were our drinks. But the service!! My gosh! This is probably one of the friendliest staffs I've ever had the pleasure to encounter. So this is what I want my review to focus on.
From the moment I arrived the hostess was so friendly. She saw that I was quite drained from the heat. So she took me to a seating area right under the vents. Then our waitress came pretty soon to ask what to get us started with. She had a very friendly and warmth energy from the start. Our food was brought promptly. She kept on checking on us the whole time and made us feel like she really cared for us to have a great experience. Y'know when you get that feeling that they really appreciate you being there and are committed to giving you a 'this feels like I'm at a friend's house's' kinda experience? Well I rarely ever find that. Only places I can think of that do that is Vegan restaurants like Daikon. But the best part came at the end when twas time to pay for the check.
My bank decided to decline my transaction due to fraud suspicion. Last time they did this they gave me a call. This time they only sent me a code after about 10 mins of trying to run the card. And the code had no link. Had no idea where to input it. They told me there was nothing they could do because they sent me 'many' codes. That I had to go to an ATM. Fun stuff. ~ Well, the gracious way in which they behaved the whole time almost made me cry. How understanding, patient, compassionate and kind they were blew my mind. When I say kind I mean KIND not just nice. And so this will be my favorite location to go to now. There wasn't an ounce of judgement or discontent toward me from anyone in their staff. At the end of it, I guess I looked so stressed out they offered if they could get me anything 😭 The way they took care of me was them truly going above & beyond. This is the kind of treatment that gives you hope in humanity. If service is important to you I cannot recommend this place enough. Anyone you take here will be...
