First off, I called inquiring about the happy hour, since we were going out as a family with our kids, just wanted to make sure the kids were allowed to sit at the patio so we could be able to enjoy the happy hour menu.
Once there it took the hostess about 10 min to have our table ready (even though the restaurant wasn't crowded at 2:45pm) and once she walked us to the table we realized that she assigned us the only one table that was directly under the bright sun light with no umbrellas to cover at least some of it; so I asked her if could sit at the table next to it that was in a shaded area.
Just as we sat at the table the bussers came with some waters for the table (which was greatly appreciated) and the server asked us if we wanted to order some drinks; so we asked her to give us a couple minutes for her only to come back 20 seconds later not only to ask for our drink order but to take our entrees order (clearly we weren't ready) but we went ahead and order the kids selections (lobster bisque bowl and kids grilled chicken) along with an order of carpaccio (which I have seen on the happy hour menu posted online to be a $7 option).
Not to long after that, we finally decided what our entrees would be an went ahead and placed our order.
Shortly after, a food runner came by our table with an extremely big order of carpaccio and as he placed it on the table we asked if that was the happy hour size; he replied that it was not, but since we already had it at the table he couldn't send it back and that he would make sure to go ahead and charge us happy hour price for their mistake. Then the server came to our table with an attitude asking if there was a problem and we just explained the situation but told her that it was fine (we just wanted to enjoy our time there and didn't want to waste our time on a discussion with the restaurant staff) she just replied "Well, since I didn't see any happy hour menus at the table, I assumed that you wanted to order the full dish, since there's a group of you, and you might be fighting over a small plate of it, besides I'M NOT A MIND READER".
Again, we didn't want to have an argument while enjoying ourselves in our family outing and just let it slide.
Our entrees were served and the food runners and bussers were so professional and polite, the food was delicious as expected; and then once again in the middle of our meal the server was around with a broom and a dust pan, and from a couple tables away she asked us if everything was fine and also to not worry about the issue with the carpaccio dish, that she went ahead and wrote it off the check, with a tone and a demeanor as if she was doing us a favor.
All in all, the restaurant is beautiful, the ambience was nice and the food was delicious, the supporting staff was great, but the interaction with our server was worse than placing an order at a fast...

Food: Caesar Salad~ 5/5 Chicken Milanese ~ 4/5 Chicken Marsala~ 2/5
☆☆☆☆☆ The Caesar salad was lightly dressed with croutons. I like croutons...they're crunchy with decent flavor. The croutons in the Caesar salad at this restaurant was seasoned to perfection and so delicious. At the table we all practically inhaled those greens. 🥬
☆☆☆☆The Chicken Milanese was delightful. The chicken cutlets were crispy but not dry, the noodles were chewy with a nice creamy sauce. The tomato sauce used mixed well with the cheesier tasting sauce in the middle.
☆☆ My boyfriend got the Chicken Marsala and wasn't the hugest fan. He said it tasted good but was underwhelming flavor-wise. After trying his dish I would have to agree. This flavor profile may not be for us but it was well seasoned.
Drinks: Capri Sunset Mule: 5/5 White Peach Sangria: 5/5
Oh.my.goodness these drinks y'all....fabulous. So many different flavors happening in one beverage.
☆☆☆☆☆ The Capri sunset was such a fun blast to the past. It was fizzy and actually tasted like an elevated version of a Caprisun pouch! We loved it so much we ordered 3! I miss the taste of this drink just talking about it. ☆☆☆☆☆ Fizzy, fruity, and wonderful. The White Peach Sangria made me want to drink it on the beach.
Service: The servers were so attentive and kind. Even when it got very busy (we were a cohort of 20 with +1's not to mention a few birthday parties being held there etc. They remembered to come back to our tables and make sure everyone was accounted for. My waiter was super kind with a "gets the job done" attitude. They also had this really cool almost Mohawk hairdo going on that was SO COOL.....a seemingly irrelevant but noteworthy fact.
Atmosphere: The decor is beautiful 😍 This was my first time in a restaurant that looked so fancy shmancy. Even the bathroom was pretty. The stalls were like little peaceful rooms 😌 with pictures on the walls. The Italian architecture was beautiful.
~ I would have liked if there was light music playing in the background
Overall I would love to try different dishes and felt if we had that option my boyfriend could have had a better experience. This is no fault of the restaurant. Since I went with a big group the hosts chose 3 meals we could choose from.
Lol funds allowing, I would love to go back and try...
Read moreDisappointing and Frustrating Experience at Brio Restaurant at Town Square Las Vegas.
Our recent experience with the front desk at Brio yesterday left us thoroughly frustrated and disappointed, overshadowing any potential enjoyment of the dining experience. We are residents of Vegas over years and we never met such awful front desk staff in any of the restaurants here.
We made a table reservation for 4 families for dinner at 7.45 pm. We arrived at the restaurant early around 6.50 pm and informed a male person at the front desk that we would return at 7.45 pm. Upon arrival at the reception at 7.45 pm, there were a few female front desk staff. It was chaotic, with a disorganized queue and minimal communication from the front desk. One of them said she may not accommodate us as we need to pre-check, which we could not understand. The lack of a welcoming atmosphere set an unfortunate tone for the evening.
The front desk attendants seemed indifferent to customer inquiries and displayed a notable lack of professionalism. Despite having a reservation, we faced an inexplicable delay and confusion regarding table availability. The staff's communication skills were sorely lacking, making the entire process needlessly stressful.
Moreover, when expressing our concerns to the front desk about the delay and seeking clarification, we were met with dismissive responses and an overall lack of empathy. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for the staff.
This subpar front desk experience significantly impacted our perception of the restaurant before even sitting down to dine. Although the restaurant may have potential in terms of its cuisine, the initial impression created by the front desk left us with a lasting negative impression. They didn't even offer an apology for the complete lack of empathy. Pretty bad customer service.
We hope that Brio takes steps to improve its front desk operations to ensure a more welcoming and customer-centric environment for future patrons. Until then, we would caution others about the frustrating front desk experience that may mar their visit to this...
