I work nearby and stopped by here for the first time today. The staff was very friendly and they had a great selection of sweets. I decided to try the strawberry cream pie. The gentleman that helped me said it was very creamy, and it is! It has a dense whipped cream top with a creamy custard layer with strawberry slices inside. I really liked the little bit of strawberry with lots of cream! The only downside is the crust is a bit thick and chewy. I prefer a flakier crust. I suppose it's that way because the pie is so dense, it helps hold it together. But it does not add to the deliciousness of the pie. I'll be back to try s pie with a graham cracker crust next time... Or a cinnamon roll (they looked amazing).

Update: I went back and tried the Chicken Tarragon savory hand pie. It was delicious!! It was kind of like a chicken pot pie, but easier to eat. The crust was flaky and so, so good!! I also tried the cold brew coffee, and yummmm! They added some chocolate ganache and cream. It was the perfect mix of chocolate and coffee, but not too sweet. If you are in the area give this...

An amazing little taste of California right in the heart of Eugene! At reasonable prices, reasonable portions, and a nice diverse selection of menu items, snacks, and drinks, it's an easy recommendation for anyone stopping to visit Eugene. They sell Mexican Coca Cola and 7-Up, as well as a delicious "Orange 'n Cream" (read: creamcicle) soda that tastes amazing, as well as a cream soda. With a myriad of bottled and canned drinks to go alongside their wide selection of coffees and cold brews, they surely have something for everyone. The styling is gorgeous, with a distinct lack of faux utilitarian design, which is an extremely pleasant change of pace from the other "modern" coffee shops that you see in Portland and California. They have plenty of seating in a bunch of different styles, such as table seating, a bar-style wall, and some comfy couch seating.

Easiest 5-star review I've ever made, it's a truly comfortable...

Really excited to enter this holiday season with a peppermint hot chocolate as we strolled the market. My friend and I each got one. Sadly they were lukewarm. We let them know, and though not terribly friendly about it, they replaced them. Yet again, lukewarm. We went back in, not wanting to complain, but wanting them to be aware that the steamer or thermometer might not be working correctly. The response from the barista was, like our drinks, Lukewarm “fine! Okay.” No offer to replace, or even acknowledgement that they would check their equipment or process. We took our $11.00 lukewarm cocoa home to reheat, and it was meh anyway. Expensive, poor service, overpriced. Won’t be back. Lots of other great options in Eugene, so perhaps Christmas 2021 can still...

My daughter wanted a peppermint mocha and we were told they crush candy canes on the top but there was no peppermint flavor at all. We were told later if we had ordered whipped cream it comes with the crushed candy canes. My friend ordered a matcha chai and she said it was disgusting. My eggnog mocha was decent. The place was so busy we couldn't sit at a table inside or hear each other speak. There was available seating outside under giant overhead heaters but it was still chilly with the crisp winter breeze. Located in the 5th Street Avenue Alley with a free 3 hour limit parking lot nearby.
