We were very excited to try this but left disappointed. We tried the peach cobbler with ice cream. We ordered and then sat down in a seat.
It took a bit to get our cobbler. The employee handed us the dessert in a brown paper bag as if we were taking it to go.
I opened it up. The ice cream was in a separate container from the cobbler. The ice cream was very frozen and hard. After finally getting it out of the container to place on top of the cobbler, it wouldnât melt. The cobbler was more like room temp vs warm.
Most of the cobbler was crust and very little fruit. I could not enjoy the ice cream because it was rock hard and wouldnât melt.
As far as flavor for the cobbler, it was ok! Not worth $8 for terrible presentation and wasted ice cream.
Also, if I attended Colleyville Heritage High school, Iâd be upset you donât know how to spell...
Read moreI ordered the regular peach cobbler. I thought I would see how they do the basics before trying their other flavors. The flavor was pretty good, the crust was excellent but the filling was gelatinous and the peaches were crunchy. I can get past the gelatin like filling but the crunchy peaches I can't do. For the price, which is a little steep at $8.25 for a single serving, I would have expected the peaches to be cooked appropriately. While the people were friendly, the atmosphere was a little stark. I don't know how long they've been open but there were a quite a few picture frames on the walls with no pictures, just the standard filler picture that comes with the frame...a little strange. Having said all that, I would have probably gone back if there weren't a...
Read moreFor a nearly $10 cobbler with ice cream, this simply is not that good. I had peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. It comes in a small paper cup with a flimsy plastic spoon. A premium cobbler should have some texture to it, some crispy bits still from the outside edges and not just a soft texture throughout, maybe a little caramel drizzle or dusting of powdered sugar. I would also expect a better presentation than what seemed like a small soup cup. The finish and the ambiance felt a little awkward and cheap inside. A lot of white, lacking any decorations, seemed like what you would do to build the cheapest version of an ice cream place and save money on...
