was honestly excited about this place "Pizzeria Spreeza", because about a month or so ago I was out and about when I saw this place and as luck would have it, I ran to the owner of this beautiful establishment and told me they weren't open, but at the end of the month they would be opened. Since a friend texted me out of the blue, and asked if we could meet to talk I said yes. We agreed to meet here for lunch and I am so glad we did. I was awestruck with how nice elegant, and amazing this establishment is both the outside dinning area as well as the indoor dinning area. The atmosphere here gives the vibe of an Italian, cozy pizzeria, with Italian music piping through the speakers but the noise level low enough to easily communicate with our server and my friend. When, I walked in I was greeted immediately by Mr. Aurellio our host, and server. He was very friendly, kind, polite and eager to serve. My friend settled for a diet coke, while I opted for water. The only draw back for me is that I keep kosher, and just about all their menu ingredients are a mix of beef/pork except for their veggie ingredients. It turned out, that their lasagna is served with beef sauce. My friend had the meat lovers pizza and I had the lasagna with beef meat sauce and side salad for lunch. I was surprised how fast our food was prepared, the salad was fresh and very tasty, and the lasagna was the best I have ever had . My friend said his meat lovers pizza was very tasty and it was well evident cause he polished it off. To me this place is truly amazing and I will be back for sure. As we sat their talking the owner of "Pizzeria Spreeza", walked in. Both him and his son are very cordial and happy to see us there. I pray that their restaurant prospers. Please come and visit this place you won't regret it. Hope to...
Read moreI wanted to like this place so much! I had huge expectations because of the last pizza place they did business here with these beautiful built-in ovens.
Let's start with the Margherita:
Looks beautiful, ingredients were high-quality, but in my opinion the crust is too substantial for a Neapolitan style pie. The outer edge was a bit hard to chew... don't get me wrong, I devoured the whole thing... I'm just very picky when it comes to this style of Pizza and unfortunately it's not the kind of thing I will crave and come back for. I can't quite put my finger on it but the dough almost had a cornmeal and rye flavor profile somewhere in there. It's odd, but I can't quite place it.
The sauce was fantastic, but there just wasn't much on the pizza so every time I got a little pocket of sauce it was my favorite part.
The basil only made it on about three slices and it was great.
The cheese did the job, but it wasn't anything memorable.
If I come back, I will ask for extra sauce and extra basil
I sent the tiramisu back and they immediately took it off the bill, like I said great service here. They do not make the desserts in house as of October 10, 2025... I hope by the time someone reads this that they have added at least one homemade dessert.
Long story short, the tiramisu is very dry, I don't know how that happens with so much cream but the ladyfingers actually felt dry in my mouth and I decided it wasn't worth...
Read moreI was very excited to try this new pizza place, but we left disappointed, hungry, and couldn’t finish our meal. Not sure if it’s staffing issues, but we came on a Sunday for a dinner at 5pm and it seemed very chaotic and unorganized. After standing in the front for a while with no host to acknowledge the other patrons waiting, we were finally seated but not given any water for a good while, even after asking the waiter for water as he took our order. The spicy rigatoni was decent in flavor but was very watery when it came out. Unfortunately it got worse from there. We got the margherita and NY pepperoni pizzas, and the pepperoni pizza came out with a way too burnt crust. The burnt smoke was all we could smell. My husband tried to bite into the least-burnt crust and it was inedible. At this point, my son was just too hungry so I cut off inner pieces where he could eat just to fill him up. We notified our waiter and they did comp the pizza for us and tried to offer another rigatoni but we already had one and didn’t want another. The whole meal experience just left a bad taste in our mouth; we just paid and left.
I truly hope they can figure out their process at this location and do well. It’s a cute space but maybe too large to handle? Maybe it was...
