I don’t know. I pretty much only go here for boba tea, it’s never nearly as good as the boba tea from the Pho place in Arcata, but it’s usually ok. Today I just got a boba tea, and it was not filled all the way, only a couple cubes of ice floating in it, not enough milk, and then I was drinking it wondering why I wasn’t getting any boba. The few I did get were much too hard, not cooked enough. When I got close to the bottom I realized that all the boba was just stuck together in a huge clump at the bottom, kind of gross. The guy who put it together had to have seen that, and just served it anyway. It just seemed thrown together carelessly, with not enough regard to quality. For five dollars a tea plus tip it’s not worth it, I’ll go to the place in Arcata. I have also tried the chicken pho soup here, and I didn’t really like it. I don’t want to leave a bad review because I want to support small businesses, but unfortunately after this I don’t think I’ll be going back here.

The food was only so so the service was way below that and the gentleman at the desk/register was so pushy with a tip he made you feel compelled to pay regardless if it was to go or for stay and they DID NOT COME BY YO SEE IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING the entire time we were here. First and last time here....don't even want to take any of the tasteless food with me we didn't eat 9/2022 I'm posting a updated review on this restaurant because I've seen huge changes there while doordashing. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful the restaurant was very inviting and clean the dishes were coming out quickly the customer seemed very happy and we get plenty of doordash from there now. Also side note I have not seen the gentleman that was so pushy about the tip when I go back there to pick up doordash orders so not sure if he's still there. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We are passing by and stop at this city for a night. We went to the farmers market, but couldn’t find any food from the food stands that look good. We went to this Pho place. Our server was new there. However, our orders were taken by the owner or manager, the guy who was in charge there. He messed up our order and when the food came, we told the server that the order was wrong. He went back and tried to correct them, but his boss yelling at him. We felt bad for the new guy, so we decided to just not bother to have them correct the order. He did bring extra tendon to compensate the mistakes. Both of our dishes were just the Pho noodles. They taste alright; not the best given we have lots of experience eating Pho. This would be on my NOT revisit list.

If you’re craving Pho 🍜 this is the place to come in Humboldt County. Note that even the “small “bowl option is a hearty size, enough for one normally hungry person. The menu includes a lineup of typical choices, including a vegan option. Straightforward ingredients and accompanying sauces for a DIY broth flavor. Additional Asian menu options are available, drink selections minimal. Service is generally quick, and plenty of booth spaces in a relatively large dining area. One word of caution to women, though — there is no working lock on at least one of the women’s bathroom stall doors (!!) 😳. Bring a chopstick (no I’m not kidding) to thread through the otherwise empty latch strike plate.

Things were great all and all, and they work hard to keep their customers happy. I really hope the family friend I brought who is visiting Humboldt, genuinely enjoyed her food over being agreeable. Honestly, it doesn't matter because we were there to spend time together and for the experience and we had a terrific time indeed. Her pho was fitting for the cold & rainy day. My tofu Pad Kee Mao was very modest, not in spices, but everything else aside from noodles. I dressed it up with some condiments that came with the pho before taking photos. If it weren't for the level 10 Spice level it would have been a very child-friendly dish. The staff are always fantastic. 👌
